I loved this film soooo much!!! I felt like I was there in the very room with these people, it was superior in my opinion and the authenticity of it all, I truly felt I was Mary. I haven't watched a film that made me feel like the main character in a very long while. When a film can make us feel, I'd say it's a rare treat and should be awarded as so. Both Actresses were superior and I will hold this film dear to my heart. Excellent job to all , I felt every moment of it...And it is a film to remind us all that love comes in many forms.
I want to express my compliments for this beautifull movie, that I've just experienced. I like it because I had the feeling of reading a novel, or watching a novel unravel itself onto me. The main theme I guess, is the lesbian love between the two main characters, but I see it as a movie about love between two people. What struck me was the timing of the movie, slow as I would imagine for the 19th century...and I was captured in that timecapsule, where I got a glimpse of how people might interact within the social class , and the interaction between people during that period. The detail in how the camera zoomed in on hands and clothes, made me feel more a part of every scene, as was the shop and house. My compliments again for achieving this experience. Thanks to all the talented people who have contributed to this movie..but certainly not in the least to you Francis Lee!!
I do not know you guys but the beautiful actress Saoirse Ronan was and will be my only choice for the role of Batgirl, because I feel she is perfect and ideal to play the character since she is an authentic, great and extraordinary actress, while in the new version played by leslie grace i have no faith in him. And I'm still going to keep insisting to make a #RECASTBATGIRL.
