I’m using this light now for my grow in a 2x2x4 tent. I am in late Flower with about a week and a half until harvest. Light works great. Used it for entire grow.
@Apeman Commeth and yes my friend you are supposed to have BOTH veg & flower buttons turned on at the same time. That's the proper way to use it so you were correct in flipping both switches on.
For the money they’re ok. I have 2 of their “1500w” lights in a 5x5 tent. I usually grow 4 at a time in there. I was skeptical but i was getting good yields, nice big dense buds. I have a bigger spot that i grow, i just use this in my house. Drains very little power. I also just grew a bunch of carolina reaper hot peppers under them. Should be ready to pick soon
It suppose to be equivalent to 600watts but only using less then 100 watts... they pull exactly 77watts on full power... I have 2 of them and they have work great in my set ups... I tested them with my volt meter and ran them on my solar setup... both read 77 watts... and I got my first one 2 years ago and its still doing great... I use them for my mother's and clones.... but for bloom I use 2 big boy gavita 1700 led... they both pull 648 watts each replacing energy eating hps... don't sleep on those Philzon led.... they do great in my opinion...
I just got a fat ass yield from 4 plants using 2 of these bad boys. I'm not sure if it's beginners luck , since it was my first plants to grow inside, but i love these lights!
Probably decent for sprouting. I would not veg or flower with it, but for a cheap spouting light, it will probably do a good job. I'll buy one and let you know. I have to start 12 seeds the last week of September, so I'll test it and let you know. Someone reply to this comment so it's in my comment list so I can find it and reply.
Will you take a look at the "1000w" phlizon COB series? it's also very cheep, but it has some decent COB lights and heat sinks. Also, doesn't the narrow light bands match up with most plants needs? I was thinking that green light was not used by plants much.. Thanks for the video!
@@ivorgreenplant yeah, I've got one too, though I'll likely get some additional lighting as I've got a 4*4 and I know this light is on the dim side for ppfd for a flowering plants.
Thats nothing new. Every light seller does that. They have 100 10w bulbs so they call it a 1000W grow light. It holds no relevance. Just because they are 10w bulbs doesn't mean they actually consume 10w . They might only have 5w going through a 10w bulb. Keeps it cooler and lasts longer. Its just a marketing strategy to sucker the folks who don't fully understand the numbers. Look at actual power consumption. One thing i really disliked here on the vid and i have to say is LUMENS is a terrible way to judge a grow light. Lumens is what the brightness that a human eye can see. It holds low value in modern horticulture studies and plants. I could have 100, 000 lumens. But if its mostly green and yellow light its near useless to a plant. Wavelength (nm) , PAR and PPFD are the numbers that you'd look at in horticulture not lumens! That's a noob thing to look at is lumens. That light is weak as well. I wouldn't waste my time with an LED under minimum 180W actual power consumption . Waste of money any lower.
None all the seller does like that. The LED is not 10Watt led. 10Watt led run by 5w or 3 watts. That is good. Actual power consumption is one of the points to check.
Well - most sellers on Amazon advertise some imaginary "bulb" watt figure, which often has very little to do with actual wattage consumption and light output. Not many "commercial" LED grow lights are advertised the same way. It is indeed a way to sucker in folks that don't know any better. PAR and ppfd are indeed much better ways to measure, but you need to look at the spectrum also, as PAR and ppfd figures include all wavelengths between 400-700nm, so as Landon correctly states, you need to pay attention to the spectral chart as well.
They comparing to halogen Usually 10w led equal 100 w halogen and so on So 60 w 600w 100w 1000w Spiderfarmer 1000 drains 100w on the wall Thing is that
Not 10 watt? Not 600wstts not even 100wstts No spectrum correct Old technology 3000lumens? So two 2700k led light bulbs cost 4 bucks Has a better spectrum and more par and more lumens than this light??? Man oh man O o rating?? Man I’m sending mine back!!!!!!!$$

In a 100x100x200 tent can I have two 600W Phlizon?
@@PanzerNukem you're going to need much more than 2. One of these will be good for about 9 square ft. Or a 3x3.

Are you using just the 600w version? How many plants?
@Apeman Commeth and yes my friend you are supposed to have BOTH veg & flower buttons turned on at the same time. That's the proper way to use it so you were correct in flipping both switches on.
You wouldn't get more then 99 grams with this light at best
hey man. how many plants you got in there? decent amount of buds or?
Have you learned anything new in the past two years regarding lighting? Trying to shop for a 2x4 tent at the moment.

In Maine a 4x4
