    The ultimate cruise destination? We join Windstar Wind Spirit in French Polynesia! Our third vlog from this incredible trip takes you on a wild ride where we are attacked by a nest of angry wasps, get caught in a tropical downpour and live out our desert island fantasies all in our iconic Windstar Wind Spirit 7 night cruise around the Society Islands. Wind Spirit is based exclusively in French Polynesia all year round and it's a beautifully authentic way of exploring the Society Islands including Tahiti and Bora Bora.

    Excellent as always…lovely island adventures.
    I think that initial comment was directed at me - lol. I made a comment on one of your other videos that went ‘built to look like sailing ships’. 🤣🤣👍

    Thank you. We went on a South Pac cruise to 3 islands there and Samoan islands and 4 Hawaiian islands for a 28 day Princess crz in 2013, and I was very disappointed with French Polynesia. I only saw sharp rocks in the sea and no sandy beaches, and we drove around 3 islands there. It was so hot at 35C that I had heat exhaustion. It looks better where you went. The only Indians in the world are in India or from there. Best to use the terms Indigenous or Native. Or in Canada when referring to Natives we say First Nations and then for the folk up North in the Arctic, we say Inuit.

    Can you share the travel dates? The weather looks perfect.

      @visitwithus  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We went at the end of April/beginning of May and yes, we were really lucky with the weather. We only had a few really short showers during the week on the ship. However on our last day after we had disembarked and we’re waiting for our late night flight we did get to experience a whole day of tropical rain! But overall a really nice time of the year to go.

    This series just gets better and better. What an amazing destination. If/when you go back what would you do differently for the second visit?

      @visitwithus  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Robin. Actually the voyage got better and better as the days passed. Part 4 is the best. Can’t wait to show you. Second visit? We’d probably stay on Bora Bora for a few days and probably try the Star Breeze, Windstar’s luxury yacht style ship.

      @@visitwithus The Boss took one look at Pride and declared - too small. She does get seasick so we are gingerly working our way smaller. Hopefully we will get to Azzurra for my 60th!
