This story never gets old. How she’s managed to disappear the way she did is both fascinating and terrifying. I’m assuming that she’s still alive, because even the people targeting her know that if she dies, the money she absconded with will be lost forever.

How do so many criminals find each other and why not use their skills to do legit work? I am sure they would still be very wealthy. i don t think she was the sole to have access to that money. That's the key. She came from nowhere and all of a sudden she had contacts everywhere, ramifications even in countries like Uganda, lawyears in Panama, offices in 100+ countries, contacts with Dubai's royal family etc... there was a masterminder behind her...i think she was a figurehead of Bulgarian mafia boss Taki and somebody else (former Bulgarian PM). she became a liability and she was cancelled.

Cryptocurrency and/or blockchain as a technology definitely isn't a scam (especially now that energy efficient proof-of-stake algorithms are a thing), but 99.9999% of the actual implementations of that technology most definitely are. 🤷 The sad part is that all the endless scams have likely permanently soiled the waters for any/all legitimately useful and interesting uses for the technology.
