It's sad that even now many employers take advantage of the fact that women are more uncomfortable discussing money than men and are likely to accept what's offered without negotiating. Even when we try to negotiate, many places won't treat us with the same seriousness as they do when negotiating with men.
A friend who was a department director at my last job said no matter who was recruiting (male or female), the organization's SOP was nearly a 100% record of negotiating salary with a man at any position level but never with women. Wondered if we could have sued -- it was a city government?
It's outrageous and the reason we all need to get more comfortable with money talk. We need to leave those girlie manners our moms taught us about not discussing money at home when we go to work.

In case there's no video about this:
As someone who's returning to my career at 58 after a decade away, what can/should I do to avoid being immediately discarded as too old on a recruiter call (since Botox iwould be wasted on phone interviews)? And, for real, would 😮Botox make a difference once/if you get to the in person interview level?

I have complete thousands of applications on indeed, not 1 interview. 1 employer even emailed me saying indeed said not to hire me. Can y'all please look into this. It's getting seriously frustrating

They were probably referring to the recruiter, not to Indeed.
