Overnight bus from Bangkok to Chiang Mai: comfiest bus journey ever!

Thailand is one of the easiest countries to travel around and whether you are non a budget or like to travel luxuriously there is an option for everyone!
We chose to take the overnight bus from Bangkok to Chiang Mai as it was the cheapest option and oh my gosh we were dreading it - 12hrs on a bus full of people, no thanks!
BUT, it was one of the easiest and comfiest bus journeys we have ever taken - we’d do it again! Yep, you heard that right!
We decided to spend a little bit extra (approx 852 THB/£20) for the ‘Supreme’ bus which had super reclined seats, blankets, water, morning snack, AC, and movies to watch! We even arrived a couple of hours early somehow!
Overall, the experience was far better than expected. We rate buses in Thailand so much better than the U.K.!

It doesn't get much more FARANG than this. They're perplexed that everything is "in Thai" whilst IN THAILAND. No info on where to catch the bus, how much it cost, how long the drive was, cost of the hotel, name of the restaurant, or anything else that a potential traveler would want to know.
