  • I finally got the opportunity to roll on the skates Lino made famous, the Micro MT Plus! I have always been curious about these skates as a budget skate option but until now I have never had the chance to test them out. Thanks to the good people over at In Move Skates and Micro that chance is now. Will I like them? Find out in this weeks episode!

The laces you're describing are exactly the same as Seba/FR laces. I have those on my Seba FR1's. In fact the skate is a cheaper Seba copy, (some will say rip off). I've seen plenty more on this in comments, and read Sébastien Laffarque's reddit reply on the issue a long while back, it's pretty well known that Micro were not entirely honorable in all this.
All that said, it's a pretty good skate for the money. Nice review 👍🏻 nice skating too!

Great review for someone getting into skating, I have a friend who was a speed skater in his childhood years ago and was wanting to get back into it but is on a budget, I recommended these to him, or to buy used skates (loads of people get inlines that don’t fit and too hard to send back because of customs or wait time) so there are loads of people rehoming like new skates. These boots looks very well made though for the price, compared to my roces tif lites which seem pretty cheap and just kind of a skate that might not last. I paid 150$ for them on sale so I can’t complain much.

Having these and some Roces TIF Ego, these are no doubt better skates. They feel like the can take quite a beating, and the frame is much more solid. Bearings that they came with are also better even though the Roces claim abec"11".

Amazing! as always, love your content since I FOUND this channel, but the most I really love is the INTROS so professional...
    couple questions:
    - What did you use to make the flash lighting in the intro ( FLASH LIGHT?)
-Which of you cameras you most use for the intros?
-Do you think if it is possible to mount the ENDELSS frame-80 or 90, of course on those skates Micro MT?
And this is just a comment, would be amazing if you can do tuts about the AMAZING intros ( lighting, camera settings, movements-turnTables or camera sliding etc) Once again Thank you so much for sharing an inspiring content...

For $200 you can get rb pros which have a lot better features like bearings, liner, boot torsion box and better brand name. There's no way these will sell at this price. That's why rollerblades are sold out and these are fully stocked. Maybe for $129 to $149 I would add them to the collection. I can't justify any higher.

  • @davidb4979
    @davidb4979 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

I would highly recommend just spending another $30 and getting the FR FR3's. You get seven hole mounting plates for the frames and the stock frames have front and rear axles you can rocker. My only complaint with the FR skates is the stock liner is super thick so if you plan on skating another liner your shell will almost always be way too big.

Since you have a narrow low volume foot, would you say that these skates would get too roomy for you personally? Various foot width charts can be quite confusing, some say I’m an E (wide) and some say I’m a D (medium), yet my foot is skinny and boney, so I’m guessing that means “low volume”, so it’s tricky to know if I can fit something like this or an FR skate.

I have a wizard boot with the thick tougue and if I switch to 4x90mm it feels to supportive and with 4x110 it could be more suportive. How similar are these skates to the FR skates? I have FR1 skates and the boot of this Micro skate looks extremely similar... so I don't know if there is any real difference. @@ThirtyandRollin coincidentally I've got a pair of FR1's recently and I'm experiencing the same high stiff cuff - issue you mention, as well as the pressure on the calf. Still breaking them in though.

Great starter blade but I have the 2017 version and they are kinda cheaply made. Again it’s a budget boot but I would go with the rollerblade rb or twister edge if you can afford the cash. Not a bad skate but not on the level of rollerblade IMO

True. Rollerblade does have some of the best quality blades on the market.

Tried them vs fr frx 80, every feature pretty much worse, other then heel strap. Make sure to compare.

I agree with you but those are all also more expensive than these.

@@ThirtyandRollin depends on the country, frx you can find on discounts very often, where these are more rare, but true, ultimately micros are around 15 percent cheaper.

Wouldnt it be smarter to compare them with Seba E3 skates?
