Idk if you're going to see this but I wanted to mention that I actually enjoy seeing the deck over and over again. It helps me think it through with you if I keep getting reminded of what's in the deck without having to constantly think about it.
there's no concept of a unique ID among the card implementation, so dual wielding Ritual Dagger and getting fatal with them will never increment the damage value. The game _can't_ know which one was the original and which wasn't, so none of them are upgraded. Still strong though having 2 extra copies of a 100 damage 1 cost attack

Always hype to see a new Tricky spire upload! Although if you feel like branching out go for it, it's always interesting to hear you think your way through gameplay. I also really enjoyed your mod playthroughs, especially for the mods that you thought were balanced & deep enough to actually get good at (and not just 'take this card and upgrade it and break the mod' runs lol).
Tricky somehow makes every class play like a discard Silent deck.
There was a line to be infinite with double tap, at some point, but infinites are not fun to watch anyway.

The Dual Wield on Rit.Dagger "transforms" the chosen card into 2/3 copies that don't stay in the deck IF YOU TARGET THE DAGGER.
If Dagger is the last attack/power in your hand and DW auto-selects the Dagger, you still keep a real Dagger and create 2 copies.

Been a fan for awhile. I like even the videos where you lose! More content = more tricky. I don't care if you win or lose as long as you have fun during the video, because that gives me fun watching.
Think double tap was definitely the way to go!
The new 2x feature where you tap and hold the right side of the screen is a godsend for the centuries fight

in regards to your prior vid, where you said that engineering might not be for you because of how they treated you for reporting on shortcomings. This is not a engineering problem, but rather and employer problem. Try not to get discouraged by that experience if you enjoy it. Personally I view it as getting paid to solve puzzles in an abstract sense, why I love it.
But there are many shitty employers who will just view you as a cog that will be swaped out if you misbehave. You will run into that with any job unfortunately. But there are great bosses out there, just have to get lucky. Or start your own thing, always an option if you are eager to work your ass off.

I think it's the 'select which attack to duplicate' screen which removes the original. Dagger has to be the only attack in your hand so it's automatically selected, then it can both scale and be duplicated. Weird glitch!

always happy to see another tricky upload! talking about the sentry fight at the beginning, its one of my main sticking points in the game, do you have any advice on how to make it more consistent?
Sentries are one of the most potion solvable elites. Any damage potion can really help you pop the first one, dex potion gets huge value in the phase where there's only one attacking at once, speed potion in what is hopefully they only "block 20" turn, power potion especially on Ironclad is big, etc.
There are also some cards that are just worth taking act I entirely for the sentries, feel no pain, evolve, fire breathing, etc. (also power pot to go with what the guy above me said)
Basically, you have to kill one of the outer ones by the second turn. If you do that, you only have to block 10 each turn, and you're only getting 2/3(higher asc) dazed instead of 3/6
Advice I hear a LOT is to have zero hesitation taking the first AoE card you see and upgrading it ASAP unless you've got some particularly crucial build piece that needs it first.
Even besides sentries, it's good for gremlins, small slimes, three fungi beasts; all fights that will positively maul you without some acceptable AoE
I sense a big deck defect run coming
Apparently if you have no attacks or powers in your hand then the leftmost ritual dagger will increase f copied by dual wield however if there is any other attack or power in your hand when you use dual wield and you copy ritual dagger it'll get bugged and none of them will increase at all

39:50 why not use Astrolabe on Bash, Hemokinesis, and Defend+? Those cards were outclassed by other cards/Abacus, and Bloodletting + two Offerings solves energy
Most of the time the cards you'll get will be much worse
