Saving a Jill from the Landfill!

- I was alerted by a good friend of a posting from a lady that was about to toss this poor Jill in the trash. She was not a talking doll collector and had found this Jill missing an arm in a shed on her mother’s property!
So happy to have been able to save her and hoping she is salvageable!

Hello I had Jill I love her omg I wish I still had her. I am the brown one. ❤❤❤❤❤ I wish I could purchase one now. Awwwwww I loved her so much no one knew who or what I was talking about. I’ve looked all over google for her.

I hope so too! Just happy I was able to save her from going to the dump. She would have been gone forever!

I know. Poor girl was abandoned in a shed outdoors for years and years! But the good news is she made her way to me so I will fix her all up!
I don’t know why I get so emotional about dolls being abandoned, but this video in particular really hit me. I don’t think I’ve ever even heard of Jill before. Thank you for saving her!

She is quite fun to sit and listen to. That’s cool she has the display. I’ve only ever known of 2 others to exist. One in Florida and one in New Zealand.

@@philiparnoldblaza76 for the Jill display doll? Oh no! Well if she ever decides to part with it you know who to contact lol. I don’t even have the display on my list because I would go nuts for years trying to track one down.
Even a Cricket and Jill talking doll remakes only with new MP3 alternatives on storage cards as options. I know this sounds too complex, but I thought that as a suggestion.
That would be awesome! I wish the toy companies would reboot these talking toys!
Jill always seems to lose the same arm.
Good observation as you are correct! I noticed that awhile back after I kept getting so many broken ones. It’s the exact same parts so it’s interesting for whatever reason that side is weaker.

Actually I got her to power on at least. She just makes a really loud motor noise but hey it’s a start!
