I strongly dislike that thing. When I am prepared to face it and demolishe it, it doesn't show up. Then when I am not prepared to send it back to oblivion, it shows up. Then when ever everything is just right and it shows up, it ups and leave halfway through the fight.
Well yeah but it still is the inconvenience and also if the creator for example changed the class or levelled far ahead of you it is inconvenient too. In all it's just an annoying thing death can do to you. Especially if you aren't close to a riftstone and now have to backtrack.
You guys got lucky i play on offline mode to get more challenge but its more hard to count the paws that the game offers just me and my pawn got the best armor i can buy and weapons the others i just get another at the same as mine and it the best armor takes almost an hour but kt helps ,_,

Sometimes the pawns will be in the rift area like when you first activity the riftstone they sometimes be among the pawns walking around in there when killed by death

Great trick! Will try this next time, i wonder if pre-emption aug helps. Btw if you don't want guest pawns to get 3 stars for dying you can go to the rift and pick them up again before resting, they won't get the default death rating then.
Immersion Mode I actually did not know that. I thought they got the rating if they died either way (unless maybe if you release them again before the other person gets on)
It's the resting that updates it, so long as you pick them up again b4 resting the 3 stars get overwritten. It's not a big deal tbh, i know some care about ratings, but not me.
Really hate this thing, scares me colourless🫣. I used to send him to oblivion with the blast arrows with my Assassin but I’m yet to take him on with my lvl 200 MA. I’m going to try your method, thanks for sharing.
He will find you if you don't put out enough damage to stunlock. It's much easier on normal for that reason. However you can do it on hard with enough stagger and knockdown. Also make sure the lanterns are off on you and your pawns they attract him.

I did a similar trick to kill the chained gorecyclops. After he broke his chains my mage ran thru the broken grating and attacked him. Lost my pawns tho.
It is really almost impossible to see where you are going. I see you going down the stairs through the door, across the hall through the next door. Once inside there you cross a waterway, and then go up some stairs. Turn right in through another door and drop down into a place where I can see an open chest. Then you use the magic rebalance and that grate. I wanted to do this. I never could because I can’t see where you are. A view on the map would be nice please..

I tried it recently and I believe that has been *patched* . He finds me regardless of what I try. Apparently the morons that made this game think you should waste the valuable time your given in life to mindlessly grind on their game. Somehow that equates to fun? idk
What status was the weapon? What level were you? How did (build/vocations) you level up? Did you try it with 4 magick rebalancers/demon’s periapts? Did you have the augment emphasis (magick knockdown power) and 2 barbed nails equipped? You probably need all those factors to be optimal for this to work.
deni140492deni if you're a magick Archer you will be fine if you have the right augments. I did this my first run though bitterblack on this char. Just didn't record. I think I was like 88 at the time. Gained like 15 levels

Is there a way to get that Eternal Ferrystone you had in your inventory if I’m on PS3? The wikia says it isn’t available for Dark Arisen players who never had the vanilla version of the game. Have you found any other places with death? Outside of the area before the Warriors respite? I have been trying to kill death for the longest time period and if so do you know of any other methods aside from Magic rebalancer and Ricochet Arrow?
There are ways to get augments, skills, and equipment early in the game that would make you able to accomplish what he did in the video, but you’re probably not gonna want to. It’s sort of time consuming and also quite a lot of work. It’s much easier and faster to just stock up on throwblasts and martyr’s talismans and run solo down to the midnight helix to farm the prisoner Gorecyclops and the cursed dragon there if it shows up.
If I were to use maker’s finger on death would it work? I know that some bosses don’t die from the finger like daimon or ur-dragon but would it work for death?
Pexl Thank you for the knowledge. I have just recently defeated death with a bunch of blast arrows as assassin, and I have to say Death was a lot easier to beat then Diamon considering he only has two attacks.
At that level farming Death over and over for rift crystals for guest pawns is better accomplished with the Ranger method; given u have GF Revenant Wail, 2 barbed nails and periapts with blast arrows. After killing Death several times run over and kill the Dark Bishop and the entire excursion will pay for itself with 200,000 gold more than u had after selling and reloading again.
Sure but that's at that level. This is more for people trying to kill death for the first time. It can be done with far weaker gear than mine just takes longer or multiple tries

Then you reply to this comment that describes a better way to kill death with "This is for people trying to kill death for the first time". Well death can also be killed with weaker gear than tomidomusic describes(while still using his method) and easier too. This comment reply is one of the most contradictory responses I've seen in a while so I felt the need to add this a year later for posterity and anyone else reading the comments in the future. To recap: A far easier way to kill death even at lower levels is with a Ranger build equipping 150 blast arrows popping 4 Conqueror periapts and using 10-fold flurry to stun-lock death and bounce him into the air over and over. At lower levels you don't do as much damage so it will take a few attempts but no set-up in a special room and praying you can lure him there is required. Just carry the equip the blast arrows and pop the periapts anytime he spawns(or force it with rancid-bait).

Nope. I tried it too. Must be due to the high dark resistance, but it didn’t really affect him at all. Or it could be bcuz he isn’t grounded. Haven’t really tested it that thoroughly yet, but I’ve tried it on other flying/airborne enemies. Harpies, succubi, gargoyles, and death. None of them seemed to take any damage from it or get pulled into it, but then again that could be that they’re all highly resistant to dark magic. I guess I need to look up their resistances too.
kakamaks it is actually easier on the first run through because as I mentioned death is alone and guaranteed to be here. After killing daimon the first time he randomly shows up when the cyclops are present.
As Dart said, it's the Bloodless Stockade. It's right before the small "arena" where you have to kill a lone Living Armor in order to reach the Fallen City (which will be completely empty when you get there as long as Daimon hasn't been killed yet, if Daimon *has* been killed at least once before, then the Fallen City will be completely overrun with Living Armors, Eliminators, and at least one "lesser dragon" type enemy).
Stats aren't necessarily important and unfortunately I'm way past that so I don't know what I had however having the lvl 3 magick Archer bow which offers the best stagger
You can kill him as any class but unfortunately the exploit used here is for magick archer only. However there is another trick for mystic knight I've heard of. It involves using grand cannons being set a s a trap or something. You cna probably look it up online. I know when I played as mystic knight though I just used grand cannon to wreck him.
meanmachine you can actually set items to hotkeys. When in the menu and selecting an item you can see an option to assign to a hotkey. (I believe it is triangle) when you do this you select one of the 4 directional buttons. If you hold L1 and R1 and press that directional button it activated the item.
Finally a nice way to kill her without taking too much rounds. Thanks, man, I was literally having enough about this wandering boss. I hope that simply godsbaning and zoning a bit is enough to make her respawn. I godsbaned lotsa times today, making her spawn at least three times in a "day in the game" after killing her during my RC farming. (Yeah, nobody takes my pawn, but who cares. :P)

You can get your pawns back, you just have to go through the rift history and resummon them

They keep dying while im doing the fighting. I just use them as decoys
Probably bad inclinations. Also the pawns just dont know how to deal with death in general if they are a melee class

@@cespectre use MR and ricochet BY THE CHEST it works more reliably. If you do it by the grate it'll detect you or your pawns with it's lantern.

I did at level 60, the game is not that hard if you know what you're doing.

Just curious, I personally don't play sorcerer but do you think maelstrom would work from that distance or would it not go through the walls?
It might work but I believe death is highly resistant to dark magic which is what maelstrom is.
