Fast, easy, and free! This is just what I was looking for. As a student I don't have a lot of time or money. So this tutorial is excellent to show future employers my skill sets and past projects while finishing college.

Hi Hani. Thank you for the encouragement :) The microphone I used is a Blue Yeti microphone. No matter the microphone you decide to use, you should always make an effort to reduce the echo in your recording room. To do this, I closed the door, hung blankets and stacked pillows/cushions around the room. I think at some point, because of some faint humming noise from construction outside, I had to cover my head and laptop with a blanket - it actually worked, although not very comfortable. After recording, it's a good idea to consider an audio editor for background noise reduction if there is any. I use the free software Audacity which is relatively easy to learn. You can also adjust the bass/treble of your voice to give it a studio sound.

How do you bring a placeholder's file to the foreground when there's a background image covering it? Am referring specifically to Google Sites' portfolio homepage template. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Thanks Nancy! If you have a Gmail account you can simply create a Slides document (similar to PPT) from within your Google Drive. If you don't have a Gmail account, go to www.google.ca/docs/about From there it should be simple to create the doc, or at least sign up for a free Google Drive. I highly recommend it as it allows teams (students, teachers, admin) to collaborate on document creation.
Great Vid, but.... How do I create an empty site (as a template) then push to an entire class/ year group? I know that I can duplicate, but I'd need to duplicate 100's and then invite the individual student as an editor.. Is there a bulk duplicate tool out there?
