Not trying to be that guy but I have a serious question. If he just used a grinder to cut the final shape. What was the point of hammering on it at all. Why not just grind the shape into the original leaf spring. Grind the fuller and hollow cut to shape. Thermo cycle several times. Heat treat. And boom. Same result without the needless “forging”
