Beautiful. I watch a lot of blade making videos and Frierk is the best. There are people who craft more intricate and complicated blades but when he works I see a production based method that is based on practicality that gets the job done the fastest easiest way possible that still produces a quality result. You can tell this is a man with a working shop with back log and needs to get these pieces completed and shipped. Love watching him work he's a true master.

This guy costed himself money in grinding belts and grinding wheels by not forging the blade thinner. There is no way that he does work like this for production. You can believe what you would like to, but I couldn't afford to do work this way in my own shop.

The only thing that I don't like is the fact that he call's it "forging" when in reality it was mostly machining that he used to make this blade. There was very, very, little forging in the making of his blade.

@@derangedmetalworks9489 I mean do you even pay attention to his business? He does commissions. What you're saying would make sense if his job was at a factory mass producing blades, but he's not. He only cares about the quality of the blades.

Really stoked to see Eddard Stark two-hander sword "ice" in a future, now that would be a project. The best Witcher swords ever seen made yet, they will last forever, Netflix should hire you for the series to make weapons.

I love knives and swords. This is the most beautiful combination I have ever seen. Brought tears to my eyes. Rambo would have loved this beauty. I would love to own this but I know I can't afford this wonderful work of craftsmanship. At least I can say I seen it being made. Thank you dude for this heavenly video!

It is a nice sword. I love the design.. but when I learned forging, iwas told that the less you have to grind the better it is.
Forging makes better blades than cut out ones which are grinded to shape and then polished.

How many hours did it take? Your videos make it look like its happening really fast but I think you probably have many hours of hard work in all your knives. Beautiful knife, all your knives are!

Appreciate your works a lot. I guess you r one of the better bladesmith in the internet. But this time I think u made this blade a monster. Its not possible to wield this with full power for even a minute. You started with a very thick metal and also finished it very thick even after so much grinding!!!
