Jasper is less crowded and Not as Commercialized as Banff. You are more likely to run into some animals on your hike then around Banff.

Good plan to hit the Walmart before you get to the park. Everything is so expensive in the shops... I don't remember having to pay to get into the park... It has been about 36 years since I was there... bound to forget some parts... lol... They must have had problems with drones in the past... The mountains always impress... Lovely little tourist town... Thank you for sharing your drive with us... I hope you are having a great trip...
Thank you for taking the time to drop by! Yes we stocked up on water and snacks at Walmart. They can charge what ever they want in Jasper! Hinton is the closest town with a Walmart and it's two hours away. LOL that was the last time I flew! I don't remember much of my trip!

Are the roads that rough? I only drive a car and I am concerned with wrecking my windshield due to rock chip that could ruined my car.
Thank you for stopping. We drove all over Alberta and didn't chip the windshield of our rental car. If your unlucky you'll get one.

Can we buy the entrance to the park online? Which hotel did you stay at?
Thank you for dropping by! Yes you can purchase the park entrance online. They were pretty fast as shown in the video. I made 2 videos on where we stayed in Jasper. Astoria Hotel & Mount Robson Inn. We booked 6 months in advance and couldn't get 3 Nights in a row at Mount Robson Inn. So we had to book one night at the Astoria Hotel. Have Fun on your vacation!

We bought our pass at the gate as shown in the video.
