On my old 110 TDI doing this it gained more MPG and it went like a rocket. It was already mapped to 158BHP with bigger injectors etc.

What was your timing at before you adjusted I'm considering checking this because mine still feels slow but 47 mpg

fix starter motor or buy new one. get new battery. hot fix will be resolved.
