Anyway, he takes the stage, explains that the nominees all made worthwhile projects, it shouldn't be a competition, and left the trophy on the podium. On one hand, everything he said was true, but on the other, it didn't achieve anything.
@ 03:32 : Johnny Depp was born in Kentucky and lived his entire life in the US until moving to Europe much later on. Did he attend the Madonna School of English accents?? Iggy Pop acts like you just woke him up from a night spent sleeping on the D Train.
I like Cat Stevens speech when he was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
'This a farce, and I had all the ideas for star wars, and everything' 😂😂😂😂
Wait, don't these bands actually apply to be nominated in the first place? What's the point in all that farce then?
I feel that Deftones simply being a bit withdrawn in no way counts as "taking the piss out of institutions"
Slash and Axel accidentally swearing because they're so drunk is great.
What should matter to musicians is the record sales. Not the dollars per sale or total revenue but total of records sold. That is the number of people would found them important to listen to over and over again
No your wrong they should make their music. Of the music is good they will be fine.
@@dantheman9167 no your wrong. No give backs
that was saturday night wrist for chino and company right?
I don’t get the deftones one. Just because Chino didn’t seem all hyped up and the girls were dumb that means it belongs on musicians vs award shows?
LMFAO THAT WAS HILARIOOUS
Female presenter at 1:50???
Lita Ford???
They hate awards show yet still turn up...
5:30 Yes
Gosh, I remember Guns n Roses live at the American Music Awards when that aired. Pretty sure it was a Monday night and about the only time I heard an F-bomb on broadcast tv.
tbh, some of these just turned out to be rude and immature.
