Major 90s Clinique Pink Chocolate vibes, but it lasts for a very long time, moisturizes deeply, and doesn't crawl across your face in the heat. Also love the same product in Berry Brown, though it is neither berry nor brown (discuss!). If you like the Jones Road Just a Sec, I think you'd also love their Sparkle Wash. There's a neutral sparkly light taupe called So Pretty and it really is!
Lancome's eye makeup remover is the best!!! And a little goes a long way!! For drugstore, I believe it's Almay's eye makeup remover you shake up first and then use. Both are great!

Hi Shelley waterproof mascara needs a dedicated biphase eye makeup remover. Cleansers including oil or balm cleanser just doesn’t seem to cut it. The Lancome one is really good and I have used it for years, but I fairly recently discovered the newer Bioderma biphase waterproof remover. For me it’s better than the Lancome and in the UK a heck of a lot cheaper (it’s also often on offer/discount). I exclusively use it on my mascara btw. I remove my eyeshadow with the regular Bioderma misceller water and then my waterproof mascara with the biphase version. Hold it on the lashes for 60 secs and then wipe of easily- no rubbing or tugging on my 52 year old eyes. I use my cleansing oil on the rest of my face, neck and chest for makeup and spf etc. I have tried multiple different oils and balms but they don’t dissolve waterproof mascara enough IMO. For a hot Summer day a layer of tinted spf or tinted moisturiser (over my liberal application of ultrasun clear spf) is the base, with a liquid blush, a cream/liquid eyeshadow and a tinted spf lipbalm over a stain is my preference. I use a tinted brow gel, tightline and mascara too. I powder very very lightly in the t zone and I blot with a tissue if I get sweaty 😂. Best wishes x
For super sweaty days, I’ve been doing waterproof SPF (Isehan Kiss Me Mommy), waterproof tinted sunscreen (Australian Gold), and SPF tinted balm (SunBum) as lipstick/ blush. Keep it creamy so everything can be patted out when it needs it. I’ve ordered the Biore spray sunscreen to top off, but I’ve not tried it yet.

I hate waterproof mascara and I too always end up pulling lashes out trying to remove it. 😧 I've been really liking elf's new tubing formula called Lash Xtndr which stays on beautifully with no smudging or flaking, even in hot weather. It's also easy to remove with warm water. It's my alternative to 'waterproof'.

I’ve discovered the new covergirl clean foundation works great for me when I’m sweaty. Spent hours in the 90+ heat over the weekend and the foundation held up nicely.
A trick for waterproof mascara. First put on regular mascara, then put waterproof mascara on top. Get the benefit of that waterproof seal, but it washes off when you want it to.
You're lucky you have brows, mine are there but stubborn. I brush them from tail to the front with brow gel, against the growth direction to coat them, then go back in and brush them into the desired shape. It has worked well, maybe try that technique instead of pressing them down, it may work better for you, too. P.S. the makeup look is 🤌🏼
Love the Jones Road Bronze, Glow drops? Very simple, yet very pretty. It was 100 here in SE Ok. Today and going to be 102 tomorrow soo, I only wore bronzer, blush and mascara. But I’m not about to wear waterproof as it takes forever to get that stuff off and really damaged my lashes 😢. You just to cute Shelly. Always learn from you yet get a giggle in doing so. Thank you.
To remove water proof mascara I drench a spoolie in cleansing oil, then brush this oil through all the lashes, twice. Then I leave it alone for about five minutes, and then oil cleanse as normal, and all the mascara goes away with the rest of the makeup. 😁 Edit: Robert Welsh has a hilarious review of that setting spray!

Shelly you need to put regular mascara on, let dry a little, then put waterproof on top of the regular mascara. voila! Benefit of waterproof mascara with ease of regular mascara wash off.
Instead of using waterproof mascara maybe try using a tubing mascara. I also struggle with waterproof but my eyes get watery so I need something that will stay. Milani has an awesome tubing mascara. Basically a dupe to the thrive mascara although I like the milani one better.
You need this waterproof mascara remover! You brush it through like mascara, close your eyes for about 30 seconds, then use a waterproof micellar and wipe it off. ZERO pressure needed. I have purchased this product 11 times it says on amazon. I will post the link in the reply. Seriously, I wear it everyday now.
The brow product works really well if you don’t comb through it after it is almost dry or dry. I like it because it doesn’t feel thick. I have been using it for about a month and it works on my stubborn brows.
Have you tried Make up Forever’s (at Sephora) waterproof mascara remover? I like it the best and use it for regular mascara too. Btw: I love your content and your cat is so adorable! 😻
Alice in the Rabbit Hole suggested Isehan Kiss Me Heroine Make Speedy Mascara Remover from yesstyle and it's great! It is like a mascara applicator, you leave it on for a couple of minutes and either wash it off or remove it gently with a soft cloth. I love it! Specially since my skin hate Micellar Water. Also, tailgating in NZ means that someone is following you too closely on the road so to hear it used in a different context really makes me blink :).
That mascara remover sounds like exactly what I need!!! Tailgating can be that too here, while driving :) Concert-wise, it's when everybody sets up a sort of camping setup in the parking lot at a concert before the show and has coolers of snacks and sometimes mini grills to cook food and it's like a pre-show party in the parking lot!

For at least a decade, maybe longer, I have exclusively used The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter as my eye makeup remover. It removes everything so easily, waterproof mascara included. And it doesn’t burn or blur my vision. Imagine my dismay when I recently went to restock a few tins only to learn that they are no longer in business in the US. 😢 Now I’m in the market for a new product. Ugh!!!
Yeah it is a bit too thick under foundation for me too. I like it as sort of a cheek blur/highlight on light makeup days instead of foundation. Usually I'll do a little spot concealing with concealer then that. I just picked up the new CoverGirl version that looks similar to the Glotion and I'm thinking it'll be the same situation.

I think it would be fine unopened. Most of those skin care products have at least a 2 year unopened shelf life. Weight loss is going good - down 40 pounds so far :)

What I’m loving this summer is a/c! I’m having good luck with the L’Oreal serum foundation staying on. It’s a great color match, too.

I found out the other day that the Purito Cica Clearing BB cream is sweatproof and waterproof. It didn't budge in 90+ weather or in a swimming pool.

Waterproof mascara isn't great for lashes, I tried the Maybelline sky high waterproof mascara and lost most of my eyelashes, never again 😢
