I'm done fighting with the wife for playtime because Dooma chooses to purposefully make new killer builds. I'm listing Dooma in my divorce documents as a reason why the marriage cannot go on. There simply is not enough time for both him and his builds and her......priorities have to be made. When I'm dead and standing before St. Peter I sincerely hope I'm not asked "Who is this Dooma that took so much of you time with awesome builds?" It'll be awkward to answer.....
I've been liking serps disdain builds in IA, using vamp scratch that 3 stack of hemorrhage with focused efforts is gnarly, nice to have a health costing spammable too the sustain from thar alone is wild
Awesome! I had Serpent's Disdain on most of the previous IA build versions, but I have been trying to move away from it this patch (where it makes sense) to bring some new stuff to the table for people to play. Disdain is still a fantastic set though. The higher you climb and the more you are forced to kite, the stronger it gets. Good stuff and thank you for the comment! 🙏
This build took me from only being able to get to ARC 3-2-1 solo to getting to ARC 4-3-2 I don't have it golded out yet and I didn't get all the good visions killer build. Currently sitting #1 on weekly PS NA and #61 all time
Awesome and thanks you! I actually wanted to talk about brp recently in a video, this is perfect, going to take the time here for anyone reading through and interested. I messed around with brp dw for a little while early on, but ended up preferring the vate SNB for upper arcs on the back bar. Not saying brp is weak at all, def not, just ended up being my preference. I'll give my reasons as well for anyone reading and interested: The aoe grip into various effects + the area Major Maim goes a long way to keeping you alive/ending the stage. The grip is very useful for instantly grouping the whole stage into any sort of ground effect you have going on. Its going to give you 4% more damage reduction than brp comparing them 1:1 (unless you have Maj. Maim from elsewhere and then that changes things haha) and at the point in IA where it gets heavy the 6% damage increase from brp wasn't as fireworks for me as it was in low-mid arcs, specifically considering however many 500% stacks you have going on from FE, and assuming you have mass-status effect generators on the build. I also could be totally wrong and just had garbo runs when I was play testing it for a while, but I do feel as whole package, for myself personally, vate snb is a bit more ideal for upper arcs. Took the edge off a bit more. In upper arcs, the major evasion from cloak is undeniably huge (was one of my biggest interests when originally checking out brp and it's another somewhat difficult buff to get across the classes with a relevant ability slotted), however from a damage generation standpoint cloak is a /2s tick vs /1s tick status effect generator, essentially cutting the status effect chance in half from it vs. other options (if that is even a factor in your build, easily could not be at all and this isn't relevant at all). But comparing them spot for spot, P.bash for snb is virtually 0 damage haha so there's that. In upper Arcs, to some degree (on most builds, def not all) you end up kiting quite a lot when solo, in all of those moments, you lose out on all of the cloak offensive strength, which ultimately sealed the deal for me to drop brp for higher arcs runs. Plus all the snb blocking shenanigans you can get away with with marauders and such. But then again, vate is basically 0 damage there in that spot, so its 2 very different things in that regard it's bringing to the table. (Again not saying brp is bad at all for those reading, and none of this was trying to say vate snb is necessarily better than brp dw, just my preference for my play style.) I appreciate you sharing in the comments to give people reading other options to potentially work into their builds. I haven't actually talked about brp a single time yet on yt, so this is great. 🙏 Just curious, what sort of ceilings have you ran into with your runs with brp backbars? Are you finding it the same'ish as other options or is it elevating your clears generally? Been thinking about taking another look at it recently, but its been hard getting away from vate snb lol. Edit: I cant read or spell.😅
So I just placed #21 in the Warden solo leaderboard (total, not weekly, which I placed #4 in as of rn) thanks to using a variation of this build. I think i collaged it from one of your previous vids but i'm very interested in trying Symmetry of the Weald instead of serpent (of course after the event where I sold/deconned 1000 pieces of symmetry without thinking) It was Serpent, Heartland, 1 pc pen, oaken, started with lightning staff swapped to ice at about ARC 6. No spell crafting but my skills were : ele sus, structured entropy, Crystallized Slab, Lotus, and netch, with bear ult but without using. I got SO lucky, getting 5, count em 5 focused before arc 5. 3 in the first 3. My strategy was basically block casting ele sus on bosses, swapping to arctic blast on bosses with no range and then back to slab for mob pulls, and heavy attack weaving when things got dicey. I was killing the main boss mini's before the arena finished morphing to the next stage, it was incredible. I don't know if I'll ever have that luck with focused again. Ended at 7/2/3. huge shoutout to your build that helped me piece it together!
You are very welcome! Adding in Force Pulse + Arctic Blast will change all of that in lower Arcs. Most of the lesser mobs should die in 1 global, 2 tops. Dropping Heartland before your first FE for a non heavy set will speed it up even further. I'm sure you saw it at this point haha but just in case, I have all of that covered in this video for you.
I think I'm only the second Warden to hit Arc 20, at least on PC. Try Heartland Conqueror + Ice Furnace :) Already have close to 80% chance to proc status effects by about Arc 6. Ice Furnace AoE burn is well over 1/3 of my damage by Arc 12. It's also heavy armor, which is far more beneficial for pushing.
Hey awesome, thanks so much for the rec and awesome job! My original version of the build on the channel was using Ice Furnace but I have since replaced it just trying out other options. Most of the relevant combos on the Warden with 1 bar I found hit the Arc 10'ish area before you hit that struggle wall hard without the back bar. I have a two questions for you if you don't mind: I used weald to generate maximum chilled SE from Winter's Revenge and after Winters was dropped, with the bar set up used, you are free to Ele Sus spam mostly indefinitely. This ended up with both a very high chilled and burning % across the mobs. Did you find the more consistent burning with Furnace higher overall damage generation in upper arcs? (have you tried non-furnace set up at all with your high Arc pushes?) Also, was this solo/duo and what server? Regardless of which combo, amazing job! 💪
I THINK there was one or two traits on Heartland that were different due to the PTS being down (its been a very busy couple of weeks haha). I put a post about it on the community tab a few days ago. The written should match the gear in the video now after everything has been published. And you are totally good on Imperial. Youll most likely have to enchant a jewelry pieces or two with protective and then use a reinforced heavy helm with a line of armor to reach resist cap for upper Arcs. The Warden is a little quirky due to the Frozen Armor passive. So depending on what you have on your bars will change your resist values. What I listed in the video was designed for the final version where you only have Winter's Revenge and Permafrost from the skill line on your bars which gives you ~1980 extra resistances. So factor that in when trying to hit resist cap. If you have no intention of trying to push very high and prefer Arctic Blast on your bars for low-mid arcs, then that adds even more resistances from the Frozen Armor passive, freeing up more gear trait options. Frozen Armor Passive: eso-hub.com/en/skills/warden/winters-embrace/frozen-armor
another use of scribing skills as substitute for Elemental Susceptibility could also include Trample and Elemental Explosion during the mob stages Trample can inflict Concussed, Hemoraging and Sundered while also providing major heroism for more Permafrosts (especially with extended favor). Plus there is a funny factor if you set your mount as one of those stick mounts. Elemental Explosion can inflict the same as Elemental Susceptibility and also apply minor cowardice to targets to debuff their damage a substantial amount. Both being AoEs also mean you can use them in mob packs to trigger all those effects on all targets at the same time. Just must be careful with the cast time as blocking/dodging/CC will interrupt the cast.
Optimally with this specific build, you would want to swap between Ele sus (Boss) and Ele explosion (Trash). Trample is only usable in this build if you get a few of the Stam regen visions otherwise you'll end up stun locked at some point as the stam cost is quite high. That said, Trample with Stun/Assassins Misery/Major Heroism or Minor Mangle is very strong in IA. AOE Stun is a big damage reduction by itself, and the extra 5k damage from a flat damage script is nothing later on. Effects > Damage. I've run a variation of this build in the past with Heartland + Threads of War Onebar using Ele Explosion, Trample and Ele sus alternating Ele Explosion/Trample casts for sustain and Ele sus for single target. Same basic idea, but Threads is effectively a +33% damage on all 3 of those spells since you dont need the extra chance to apply.
Hi Damien! I messed around with trample quite a lot, specifically for Maj. Heroism for ult spam. I just cant get comfortable working it in on the bar for the 1 bar set ups. There just hasnt been room for it that doesnt ultimately weaken things. You totally can, but once you start getting in that Arc 9/10/11 area, maybe even 8 (specifically solo with one bar), things change fairly hard. I just couldn't justify the bar spot for something else to keep me alive or generate necessary damage. Losing even 1 ability at that point from either side either makes you unnecessarily squishy having to do much more gymnastics around the stage or makes things a slog from lack of damage, all just to gain Maj hero. Can you do it? For sure, no doubt. But it just didnt feel worth it at all. However, before that point, anything goes. That's why there are a million builds on yt showing arc 4/5/6 with just about any sort of gear combo/skill bar combo you can imagine. A lot of early arc stuff is smoke and mirrors, Ive shown on stream how some early stuff in there can be cleared mostly naked. You have mostly unlimited freedom at that point. You have less freedom as you climb. Also with a 2 bar set up, 100% trample is massive and easily worked in. Highly recommended for any of those set ups. Regarding Ele explosion the 2s cast kills that for me personally completely in upper arcs on 1 bar and it eats up a very necessary bar spot. Much better/safer ways to navigate that. Thank you for these comments by the way. These builds and the majority of my guides for them, is aimed specifically for very high arcs, however a good amount of peoples comments/questions are regarding mid arc troubles and suggestions or blurring lines a bit between what is viable with 1 vs 2 bars. This is good context for myself for adding more tools/fun viable things people can use for low-mid arcs to give them options to play and not be so limited into the narrow upper arc build paths. That and I need to clarify a bit about 2 bar, bar spot freedom, vs. how limited you end up being with 1 bar in the upper arc area. From my experience in ESO, specifically in IA, the variance between 1 bar and 2 bar set ups, is among the greatest gap in IA, when in higher arc areas. Also, I am still learning and improving the builds and myself every day. I definitely don't know everything. Daily, people are discovering new wild things that work well in IA. So take everything I, and anyone else says, with a grain of salt and take what works for you and throw the rest out. My view of things is based around the way I do things, which may not work at all for someone else. This has been great, thanks again. 🙏
@@Dooma I appreciate the feedback return. But I gotta ask an unrelated question. DAMIEN?! What the hell is youtube showing me as to others?!?! I should be @SirBanana1992 like I see on my end!
@@SirBanana1992 lmao! There is an @ name and then a "display name" for TH-cam. I am honestly not sure the proper terms for them but for example my @ is @dooma but the channel is THE GAMEROOM. Your Display name is "deleted." Sometimes when I open the comment log, it lists everyone with the @ name, sometimes it shows the display names. I've even had it change while staring at the screen and everyone flips from @ to display or vice versa. It's a mess, I don't get it either. 😅 And you are very welcome!
@@Dooma yeah thanks I guess for exposing that, in the meantime changed my google setting to my initials but that was not something google has ever asked me permission to display and up until recently I always thought I was shown as SirBanana to others which had been my only youtube name when I started this account. Maybe when Google acquired TH-cam and forced the 2 to be linked.
I feel like this might be a super dumb question. But, does it matter which sets are on body vs jewelry and weapon? Since they are both crafted you cant interchange them right? Like if I had Heartland staff and jewelry, I wouldn't have to remake it?
It's not a dumb question: note that Heartland Conqueror is a crafted (heavy in this case) set and Symmetry of the Weald is from West Weald (not crafted and is light armor). It does matter (6 heavy pieces + 1 light piece on the body).
Hi there KC! Manbearnug nailed it with his response to you. There are 2 specific reasons we want primarily heavy on the body: 1) The armor from the heavy armor (and heavy armor passive Resolve), makes it possible/easier to hit resist cap and 2) all the heavy armor passives are huge for IA in later Arcs. Once you have the build on, open your skills tab, go to Armor > Heavy Armor, then mouse over and read those passives with the heavy armor stacked up. A few example you should see: +24% health recovery, +12% max health, + 6% healing, etc. Also like Manbearnug said, not a dumb question at all, this is a great question I am sure is going to help others as well who are reading through comments wondering the same thing. 🙏
As usual very well done. Question to vamp or not to vamp in any of your IA builds besides Templar? Lastly ESO did a good job with IA except with this make or break focus efforts. I wish they did something so you can get 1 by the end of arc 2 cause it ends up being a waste of time. Ty again keep up the good work.
You can do something, reset and do over. At this point I reset if I dont get 2 FE by Arc 3-1-1. I'll push a bit further if I have really great supporting visions but hardly past 5-1-1. The time to kill waves just gets too to be way too long.
Hi Bill! I use vamp ulti on classes that don't have a very strong (long lasting) defensive ulti to bring to late arcs. It's def on the Sorc as you saw, but It will probably end up on the NB as well here soon. I am also going to check some numbers on the Arcanist (going to be streaming that one here soon). I am not convinced yet theirs are better than the vamp ulti just yet. I got it to Arc 10 solo with 1 bar on it, but I think it can be improved for sure. Regarding FE my usual goal is 1 FE by 3 and 2 FE before the end of Arc 4, if I dont have that, I usually reset. Not that Cy is wrong at all in their response to you, but I have ran IA endlessly for about a month now almost daily since updating last seasons builds now and I did exactly what they was saying trying to get a couple very early. You are going to lose full days of your life after you add up all the time re-running Arc 1-2 for 2 FE. I think its happened twice for me in maybe 100 runs. I legitimately wasted a full Saturday a few weeks ago doing just that and ultimately ended with 0 FE. I streamed it a few times with "How many arc run 1 clears does it take to get 1 FE" and speed ran Arc 1 on repeat. Took many hours both times I did it. It's possible, it just doesnt happen often. I extended that out just a bit further to make it a little more reasonable with my time accepting that not every run needs to be a highlight reel to continue. With the early arc gear modification options, you can hit the end of arc 3 very quickly and then with these builds, just 1 FE makes them start to take off really well for arc 3/4 so I added a whole Arc to my cut off lines to it before I end the run now. I could also just have world record garbage rng lately, but the majority of people I've talked with about it or just participating in streams and what not seem to be having mostly the same experience.
@@Cyhawkx that's true and I've done that but unfortunately I lack hours needed to loop like that. I've been taking the Dooma road to loop after 1 Arc and it's crazy how they (Focus) never drops. Usually when I do push to arc 3 and have no focus I just keep going and yeah it's a rough road. I've also started playing 2 players in IA and it's the same thing, no focus you hit awall at some point. Ty for the tip it's greatly appreciated 👍
@@Dooma ty Domma for the breakdown. Btw, I was never into the Templar, but love the jabplar IA build. I was watching you today on the Sorc, oh my after the event I'll be playing that build. It's just amazing how you can squeeze in so much with 1 bar and make it smooth and enjoyable. As usual well done and ty
When you said both Jewellery pieces in protective did you mean both rings? Cause in video you just did the weald ones. My warden is a Dark Elf. And I copied video. Physical Resistance is 30086 My Mythic ring is healthy. 3:09
I've just spent about the past 2 weeks building the templar one bar dps build. Solo grinded to get the draugrkin lightning staff and everything (didn't have any pieces of any of that dungeons sets so it took about 4 days) Went back for a reference check on the poison to make sure I made the right one and now the build is gone???? Plz tell me I'm seeing things...
Hi there! I've been talking about it across the platforms and working for a couple weeks now purging outdated builds from the site and updating it with new ones play tested from streams. If it had draugrkin it was almost certainly a pvp build if I recall correctly? Those were definitely removed from 1 bar set ups here recently. I am very sorry you got rug-pulled like that if that was in fact the build. I try to be as vocal and transparent as possible of what is going on with build testing and what not. That said, while I totally get how it feels terrible if you spent time farming a build that is no longer relevant, I am glad you find out now this "early" and would rather you be upset at me now and pivot to something/someone else, than go out there and have a bad time indefinitely with an outdated build that was just left on the site. If you are still interested in my/our builds in general, I am very vocal/transparent on streams, discord, and yt comments/community tab to let people know what is going on and answer questions. If you ever have any doubts or want to know the state of something (ex: things being worked on to be updated) please feel free to ask anytime. It's an ongoing never ending cycle of updating and purging builds. Very (very) few last indefinitely without needing a rework or being fully removed at some point.
@@Dooma I totally get it and appreciate the response. I'm very busy and don't have a whole lot of time to sit and watch content but your pvp build was one I came across that I liked. Sucks to see its no longer viable. Might I ask as to why? If you were to take that exact set and make a couple alterations to make it better so I don't have to completely start over with a pvp build, what would those alterations be? Maybe I can save this set and make it work. Anyway, cheers for the response :)
@@Dooma Cheers for the help. Also, might wanna put somewhere on your site that states if it's an out of date build or if there was, its not very visible. Its cool tho, keep on keepin on. I'll find someone else's build to try out. Gl on the content!
@@An1m0ssity Whoops, this kind of slipped through the cracks for me here, apologies there. Your comment this morning popped this back up on my feed. The last time I played it before removing it, it felt both weak and sqishy. As the game is changing, it is getting easier and easier for players to passively generate damage, even more so now with scribing. Mag Jabplar is already weak in pvp, even more so on 1 bar, and then you take on the 10% healing penalty from Draugrkin, it's just a consistently unfun time leaving you on your heels more times than not. Im sure you can still make it work to some degree, but I would recommend probably some scribing additions. I really wouldnt want to suggest something without play testing it first, especially with how mediocre it already is and how often something that looks good on paper ends up being awful in game, or vice versa.
@@An1m0ssity No worries at! Generally most things on the site is up to date, but we recently had a fairly heavy patch so there's been a lot of re-works in progress. We are kind of constantly in that perpetual cycle of updating and purging as patches land. I'll try to make an intentional effort of removing nerfed builds a bit faster before the new ones land on the site. I hope you find what you are looking for out there, take care! 🙏
Ok what does it actually mean by says adds a 200% chance of apply a status effects? Does it can you have multiple stacks of let's say burning? I'm sorry I feel like a noob asking but iv never thought about it before
Each time you deal damage with a spell, there is a chance to trigger a status effect of its type (ie Chilled for Cold damage). Weapon Enchants: 20% (Elemental of their type, Sundered for absorb health, Poison for poison, etc.) Poisons (equip type): 20% (you can get fancy here) Single Target Direct Damage: 10% (ex: most 'spammables', ie Wrecking Blow, Cutting Dive, etc) AoE Direct Damage: 5% (any damage thats applied in an AOE, Ele Explosion is a good example) Single Target DOT: 3% (Entropy, Growing Swarm, etc) AoE DOT: 1% (Caltrops, Wall of Elements, etc) Light/Heavy attacks: 0% So base 200% increase from Sym of the Weald alone would give you a 30% chance to trigger Overcharged when you cast Cutting Dive with an Ice Staff with no other increases. Now increase this further with Gold Charged staff for 235%, Destro Staff passive for another 100%, and the CP passive of 30%, and Sym of the weald with 200% you have a 565% chance to apply, making your chance to apply Overcharged with Cutting Dive with an ice staff 56.5%. Add in Heartland Conqueror and it becomes 90% to get Overcharged with Cutting Dive. The chance for status effect increase is all additive then multiplied against the base chance. Its possible to hit 100%+ chance to trigger status effects for some things. On a warden, this goes up to 110% chance for chilled on Single Target damages and Frost Enchants due to Glacial Presence (200% for chilled) passive. Also this is why they just nerfed Arctic Wind and Impaling shards, both from 15% base to 10% it was extremely strong in IA without going all in on status effect chance and the main reason solo warden boards have such high arc runs. (instead many of us ran Azureblight for omg damage or Torugs for Weakening/Crushing enchants) And to answer your 2nd question, no you cannot have 2 stacks of Burning, Hemorrhaging or poison (the dot effects) going. However, if you reapply thee status effect the first tick happens instantly (and for Hemorrhaging adds a 2nd stack as well to it increasing damage by 33% per up to 3). A target can only have 1 status effect of each type at the same time, but they can be instantly refreshed. Also since you didnt ask, they all last 4 seconds for purposes of the Force of Nature blue CP (660 Pen per status effect) and the other effects (ex Minor Defile from disease). So if you get a chilled effect, they're chilled for 4 seconds, but only 1 hit of damage. The Dot effects fall off after the 2nd tick of damage. This is why Serpents Disdain was so strong prior to Sym of the Wealds release. 20 seconds of Minor Brittle and Maim from chilled, Minor Defile from Disease, Burning from Fire, Hemorrhaging from Bleed, Poison, Minor Magicka Steal from Magic, Minor Vuln from Concussion, and 100 Weap damage from Sundered/Physical adds a ton of pressure for extended periods of time. However since Sym of the weald its better to just reapply all the effects to keep them going.
@@zerocold3074 It was specifically on the DK. I am wrapping up Sorc now, then Arcanist (build is done just need to run it up to high arcs a few times) then NB is next.
Hi there! The "new" one bar solo build is just going to be the updated "Immortal" one on the channel that I personally use with a lightning staff. We have it posted in discord, but people ask about it almost weekly, so I am just going to make a video on it for everyone so it is available for everyone and add it to the website. It's nothing new though. Same sets, mostly same skills, just swapping dual wield for destro staff. Its what I personally use on the Arcanist running around getting my solo stuff knocked out. Its about the easily vet arena clear you could ask for as well. Regarding the IA build, that is in the works. I am working on something totally new there I havent seen before. I am excited about it, but it also may be awful, I have to run it up to higher arcs a few times to find out. I plan to stream that for everyone as well here soon.
Hey! I know this isn't something that is super easy, but i love watching VODs of streams. The thing is the twitch VOD player is so difficult to work with especially on a tv. Is there any way that you would be able to bring some of this to youtube? Even if it is on a different channel or something? Again, I know that this isn't something that can just happen but just wondering your thoughts on something like that. Thank you for the content!
Hi there! Thank you for your interest in VODs, that's awesome. I honestly havent ever considered that, but I have been thinking about duo-streaming to youtube as well, which should save them on youtube. Thank you for the reminder to look into this a bit more!
Why does this build need such high status effect chance? Doesn't element susceptibility guarantee three statuses? And warden has a very high chance for chilled already. Am I missing something?
Hi there! A 'higher chance' as the tool tip says, doesn't = 100% chance. More status effects = more damage. After a certain point in IA, non-status effect damage is almost fully irrelevant. So the more you can pump out, the better you are off. Also, there are tons of damage sources between visions and verses that add heavy damage to stages by increasing their chance to apply status effects.
@@Dooma This doesn't answer the question I was trying to ask. I'll try to word it better: If I proc chilled (for example), how long until I can proc chilled again? Is there a cooldown on them? Is it when the status' debuff drops off? That's more so what I'm wondering
@@CoolGuy-pn1vm No problem at all. I'll also try to word mine better, there is some missing context that will help: The various damage types in ESO have a baseline % to apply status effects. These are: WEAPON ENCHANTS: 20% SINGLE TARGET DIRECT DAMAGE: 10% AREA OF EFFECT DIRECT DAMAGE: 5% SINGLE TARGET DAMAGE OVER TIME: 3% AREA OF EFFECT DAMAGE OVER TIME: 1% LIGHT & HEAVY ATTACKS: 0% The percentages you are adding for various increases are multiplied against the base chance, not added. So for example, if you do a Single Target Direct Damage source, with a baseline of 10% chance to proc a status effect, then increase that by 200% from the Weald set, that is only a 30% chance to proc status effects, not 210%. additional % increases are added together before multiplying against the base chance. So if you added the Destruction staff passive giving another 100%, that original 10% is now 40%, not 310%. And so on. I may have messed up some of those numbers doing quick math but you get the idea. So, most every source of damage you do, every tick of a dot, every aoe, other than your light attacks, every single damage source, is calculated to apply a status effect, and rarely is it 100%. That’s the very general version of it. There are some caveats and squirrely tool tips, but in general that’s how it works. If you would like to learn specifically what each status effect does, and for how long, check out this short guide: www.thegameroom.tv/guides-status-effects
Ah man that's a tough one. Every single piece of this is after base game with the exception of the helm haha. Oakensoul itself is kind of the centerpiece of the whole build. Without that for starters something like this wouldn't be to able work. You could replace Symmetry of the Weald with Ice Furnace which comes from Direfrost and then get someone to craft you Heartland and you would be good but you would still need Oakensoul to make it all work.
@@Dooma I see. Then I could just add a back bar and it could be resto staff for keeping me alive, but seeing the video I came from, I could use a lightning staff instead and get some good results probably. I'm still using the heartland and serpent disdain sets which are working good for me right now
@@ayeitzfrosty Oh solid, didnt realize you were interested in 2 bars. That changes things some. You can also get a maelstrom 2h sword on the back bar with stampede which will greatly increase damage or get a vateshran sword n' board for defense. (I THINK both of those are base game now?) Here is a short video on what the vate SNB can do for you, it works great: th-cam.com/video/67L_c6eUzl0/w-d-xo.html
@@Dooma I might go for dsa perfected masters battle axe because it's in the base game. It might make for a pretty good weapon if I put the weapon enchant on it and swap my ice staff enchant for poison instead
@@ayeitzfrosty That would be okay for very early arcs to get through it faster, but it's going to fall off hard and fast. Once focused efforts gets rolling (the centerpiece of the whole content) most damage sources that arent status effects become mostly irrelevant. Master's 2h will increase the damage of Brawler or Carve which will eventually end up less than 1% of your damage. Just something to consider before farming any gear for a build. You can definitely Brawler spam until mid arcs, but its really not enjoyable at all. Getting your frost damage out, keeping your self shielded, and ele sus spam (After a few focused efforts) on key targets is going to be much more (reliable) damage and much safer as you wont be forced to stay in melee range taking all the extra melee damage while brawler'ing.
Thank you for watching, I appreciate you!

Disdain is still a fantastic set though. The higher you climb and the more you are forced to kite, the stronger it gets. Good stuff and thank you for the comment! 🙏
Clever and Spot on.
If this worked for you, it can work for everybody.
Excellent 👌 Work Dooma!
Thank you Cooking! 🙏
This build took me from only being able to get to ARC 3-2-1 solo to getting to ARC 4-3-2 I don't have it golded out yet and I didn't get all the good visions killer build. Currently sitting #1 on weekly PS NA and #61 all time
Hey there Eric! Awesome stuff and thank you for coming back and letting me know! 🙏
@Dooma i have ran with others and have gotten farther with this build and have gotten complements you rock
Haha awesome, thank you for letting me know, and YOU rock! 💪
Solid build. I've run similar Onebar and 2 bar variants (BRP dual back) of this setup to great effect in IA. Very much recommend trying this one out.
(Again not saying brp is bad at all for those reading, and none of this was trying to say vate snb is necessarily better than brp dw, just my preference for my play style.)
I appreciate you sharing in the comments to give people reading other options to potentially work into their builds. I haven't actually talked about brp a single time yet on yt, so this is great. 🙏
Just curious, what sort of ceilings have you ran into with your runs with brp backbars? Are you finding it the same'ish as other options or is it elevating your clears generally? Been thinking about taking another look at it recently, but its been hard getting away from vate snb lol.
Edit: I cant read or spell.😅
So I just placed #21 in the Warden solo leaderboard (total, not weekly, which I placed #4 in as of rn) thanks to using a variation of this build. I think i collaged it from one of your previous vids but i'm very interested in trying Symmetry of the Weald instead of serpent (of course after the event where I sold/deconned 1000 pieces of symmetry without thinking)
It was Serpent, Heartland, 1 pc pen, oaken, started with lightning staff swapped to ice at about ARC 6.
Heyyyyyy that’s awesome and GREAT work! 💪
I appreciate you coming back to let me know, great stuff and I love to see it. 🙏
Thank you for the video! When I built this earlier I felt like I was hitting like a wet noodle.
(have you tried non-furnace set up at all with your high Arc pushes?)
Also, was this solo/duo and what server? Regardless of which combo, amazing job! 💪
I literally made the updated written build last night! Am imperial so I hope this video guide is 💯 the same as the written 😅
I love the archive! Im making this!
Awesome, I hope you enjoy it!
Ya did heartland weald 😌 I hold my hands up,I was wrong
Haha, it's all good! 🙏
another use of scribing skills as substitute for Elemental Susceptibility could also include Trample and Elemental Explosion during the mob stages
Trample can inflict Concussed, Hemoraging and Sundered while also providing major heroism for more Permafrosts (especially with extended favor).

Thank you! 🙏

Yes. That way you don't have to mess with Oakensoul and it can work for other builds.
Weapon Enchants: 20% (Elemental of their type, Sundered for absorb health, Poison for poison, etc.)
Poisons (equip type): 20% (you can get fancy here)
Single Target Direct Damage: 10% (ex: most 'spammables', ie Wrecking Blow, Cutting Dive, etc)
AoE Direct Damage: 5% (any damage thats applied in an AOE, Ele Explosion is a good example)
Single Target DOT: 3% (Entropy, Growing Swarm, etc)
AoE DOT: 1% (Caltrops, Wall of Elements, etc)
Light/Heavy attacks: 0%
So base 200% increase from Sym of the Weald alone would give you a 30% chance to trigger Overcharged when you cast Cutting Dive with an Ice Staff with no other increases.
(instead many of us ran Azureblight for omg damage or Torugs for Weakening/Crushing enchants)
And to answer your 2nd question, no you cannot have 2 stacks of Burning, Hemorrhaging or poison (the dot effects) going.
MVP 🙏

@@Dooma thanks for the reply that really clears up a lot of the confusion I had
@@Big-Mamba69 You are very welcome!
I'll try to word it better:
If I proc chilled (for example), how long until I can proc chilled again? Is there a cooldown on them? Is it when the status' debuff drops off? That's more so what I'm wondering
@@CoolGuy-pn1vm No problem at all. I'll also try to word mine better, there is some missing context that will help:
The various damage types in ESO have a baseline % to apply status effects. These are:
WEAPON ENCHANTS: 20%
SINGLE TARGET DIRECT DAMAGE: 10%
AREA OF EFFECT DIRECT DAMAGE: 5%
SINGLE TARGET DAMAGE OVER TIME: 3%
AREA OF EFFECT DAMAGE OVER TIME: 1%
LIGHT & HEAVY ATTACKS: 0%
The percentages you are adding for various increases are multiplied against the base chance, not added.
@@Dooma Ok, thank you. I wasn't finding any solid answers anywhere, so this helps.
@@CoolGuy-pn1vm Awesome, and you are very welcome.
I would love to copy this, but sadly I am bade game only. What would you suggest?
Getting your frost damage out, keeping your self shielded, and ele sus spam (After a few focused efforts) on key targets is going to be much more (reliable) damage and much safer as you wont be forced to stay in melee range taking all the extra melee damage while brawler'ing.
oooohhh I'm da 1st like 😎
