Uff, todavia conservo con cariño el cartucho original...siempre me fastidio un poco que la intro del Salamander me parecía bastante mas currada y esas naves con gráficos lineales no destacaban demasiado...también me llamaba la atención que las mejoras para MSX2 apenas eran perceptibles, una ligera mejora de los colores y au...que gran trabajo mejorando viejas joyas como esta!
I've read the description of the patch and it mentions "new ship GFX" - does that mean that now depending on which ship you pick, you get different GFX?
@@bladeba1977 do any of those matter? rom gets stuck after choosing ship. i had to search really hard to find working prepatched rom and found in file hunter slash games slash msx1 slash rom

Do the cheat codes for difficulty options (see gamefaqs) work with this hack? They don't for me (bluemsx).
That cheat should work... The same way as "FIND+ENTER".. but sometimes with PC keyboards is hard to take effect.... Try again, and again...
I think I activated it, but it only seems to affect the HP of the bosses. Is there supposed to play a sound when it works?
No... No sound.
And this is all it does? This game is brutal, but with better balancing would be among the best nemesis/gradius games.
um i need help i try to patch the game but everytime i patch it it freezes the game how to fix it?.
