I steam all my veggies in a regular non stick frying pan. All I do is add about an ounce of water to heated pan, add the denser veggies, then place sheet of foil over the top. About every 2 or 3 minutes I add another ounce or so of water. After about 8 minutes I add kale/spinach on top of mostly cooked denser veggies, then steam all about 6 more minutes. I don't try to time anymore, just watch for steam creeping from foil edges, add water if necessary, and eyeball the veggies now and then...I know when the food is cooked by appearance, i.e. leafy greens sufficiently wilted, etc.

Meal plan looks so delicious. Interesting how volume goes up yet calories can go slightly down. Nutrients are plentiful with lots of fiber, so looks delicious, filling, AND healthful.

Meanwhile....in fantasyland... Elliot Hulse is saying, "vegetables....they're trash." And he gets TENS OF MILLIONS of views for that crap.

15:28 Who would eat bananas with lettuce or bananas with salad in one meal?? Fruits should never be eaten with anything else but other fruit. Melons being the exception...they should always be eaten alone due to their even faster alimentary transit time. I think examples should always be realistic or they mean nothing. Otherwise another great talk!!
