I've seen these in the Xiaomi branding as well in both Bluetooth and Zigbee radio types. The are quite good and accurate enough for most domestic use. I like the fact they just use standard AAA size batteries, though I found the batteries they come with are not good and best to replace them with decent quality ones that are not likely to leak. The Zigbee version will pair with virtually any Zigbee Co-Ordinator, including SmartThings, DeConz and Home Assistant ZHA.
Hi @Csongor Varga, nice to see new video. My Mitsubishi Electric AC is not power ON if i use an smart plug, it only be turned ON via remote. How can make it to work via zigbee temp sensor, when interior temperature reach 25°C, to make that AC to turn ON to cold the room and turn OFF to say at 22°C? Ty! LE: to mention i have an wifi interface Mitsubishi Electric MAC-567IF-E but with this, i can turn ON/OFF via internet but manually.
Yes, you cannot use a smart plug for AC. You option is to use a RF transmitter. You can get these that are compatible with Tuya. Just search for IR Transmitter for Tuya and you will find quite a few. These are like universal remotes, and usually have built in codes for AC IR transmitters. Or you can train them for an IR signal. I have used one from Eachen in the past but only tested them with TV and Hifi signals, not AC. This is only available for Tuya, I don't think there is one for Sonoff. And once you have this, you can create a scene, that if the temp is less than 22C, the IR transmitter sends out the turn-on signal for the AC.

Thank you very much for a relaxed and very learning video.
Hi Csongor! Thx for the video, informative as always! Do you have any thoughts about the accuracy of this sensor?
Good question, I did not find any data on that. I assume the humidity is around 1-3%, so the decimal place is purely decoration.

@@csongorvarga Thank you! As always :)
Do you know how frequently the temperature is updated? I had one wifi that sent reporta every 2 hours... Pretty useless
I have the same question.
Can you change the display to Fahrenheit?
But why?
Does anyone have this device paired with Smartthings? Is it supported?
