I think the best part about all of these videos that Sweat Elite has been putting out is that it is giving more of a personality to these runners that we would not really know otherwise. Makes me excited to cheer them on for their races this fall! Good luck Jacob!
Great workout for marathon. Did that starting at 3:12 and working down to 2:57 before running 2:22:22. I like being able to reset every kilometer so things don't get out of control. Good luck at Chicago, great race.
Awesome video! I've had the same issues with Gu's in Ultraraces, training that gut was probably the most overlooked training aspect on my end. Good Luck in a few weeks!
UK is a big state school. That whole part of my life between when I was finishing high school and starting college was a dumpster fire. I had to get accustomed to things being bad and then getting instantly worse. A lot of things I didn't choose, but racing and endurance sports was always the void. Because swimming was a big deal when I was young and I swam a heat winner when I was 7 and that was the last time I ever won in competitive sport. I got picked last my entire life for everything, because my growth was stunted by my asthma and I was the youngest person---I was basically skipped ahead relative to my peers and small for my age. The ultra endurance scene---just watching on TH-cam, thanks mostly to my brother---got me hooked on running, because the leaderboard is probably either close to underweight or slightly underweight using BMI classifications. If I make it it comes down to the short game and I've been overlooking that the entire time I've been training. My dad tried to get me to be a golfer---and he always told me the same thing. It all comes down to the short game. That's a tough pace.
Should blow the dust off of your camera sensor! I’ve been watching all of these lately (fav channel right now) and I always stare at the blurry dot haha

I think that he starts with semi marathon pace and working down until 10k pace.
I almost commented in the last video you should come to Flagstaff more often! It's amazing living here with all these amazing runners!
Great conversation, video perspective, and performance cues to help this incredibly talented runner get after it. Good Luck at the Chicago Marathon.

@ 5:47 I need to do more of this exercise because it's a struggle and I cannot do it smoothly like this.

I Jacob, good job, what kind of running shoes are you wearing?
Trainer: (warm up, cool down, daily mileage): Saucony Shift
Workout: Nike Next% 2
If I finished that workout, I may die, 16 is insane
Me doing 6 is impressive
elite marathon volume is no joke
Nice running
Working mans runner!

Apologies about this. It's cleaned thoroughly- this mark is permanent. Will be getting a new lense soon.
@@sweatelite oh no don’t be sorry! That’s a bummer though, I had a feeling you’d seen it and tried doing something about it already :/
@@sweatelite that’s why I waited so long to comment lol
face reveal?
Watch his older videos, he shows his face
Here I am, a beginner thinking of one day doing 6 × 400
We all gotta start somewhere ! Good luck , smash it ! 👏
Hey coach 😁
Hey Sophia
❤️🔥😍
After watching these videos I can always tell the Next %s apart from other shoes. Their sound is really unique.
The shoe don’t make you run faster. Kipchoge ran with defective shoe in 2:04 and was bleeding 1/2 the time
@@RunForPeace-hk1cu I never said it did
@@RunForPeace-hk1cu definitely makes me run faster haha
For 42 years I’ve run against traffic because I’ve thought it was safer, but these elite guys all seem to run with it. Reasons?
hey look another jacob
i ran with jacob. it was aiiiite.
Tooop😍💪
19:19 fart? hehe
Human after all
@@convex2172 it happens lol
@@jacobthomson4360 when I run, I use the initial 500m to push out all the gas. I definitely get the stares from passers by, but who gives a shit.
