I like how this channel is only relevent to subjects that haven't been relevant for over half a decade or far, far, far longer. It's like content is being churned out for all 5 people interested in bionicles in 2020.
Unfortunately someone recognizing my exclamation of "Karzahni" when I dropped something led to a friendship that ultimately resulted in me wanting to break something over his head.
Also don’t forget the exclamation “Mata Nui!” Referring to their worlds deity. And one I personally made up “Son of Makuta!” which refers to the Rahkshi, and replaces our real world “Son of a-!”.
I made up "Son of a Doom Viper," which refers to the aggressive, six-headed serpent with poisonous breath. In-universe, it's often used as a comparison. Like, "That's like keeping a Doom Viper for companionship" or "Like having a Doom Viper curled up next to you at bedtime."
Lewa: "I'm going to smoke-breathe some dark-wet weed and my mind shall wind-fly as I get sky-high and none of you can stop me." The other Toa: "wtf bruh."
One time Vakama was trying to attack Voporak but kept failing, and he said a word that "Would've gotten him kicked out of the Ga-Metru school". Even Makuta was didn't think a Toa would say that
It was some kind of phrase. Potentially aimed at Ga-Matoran specifically? It’s not unusual for people to say some horrific things in the heat of the moment that they don’t actually believe.
The fact that BIONICLE has all the ingredients of strong world-building including detailed maps, languages AND swear words show that it is top tier fiction.
Apparently the reason Matoran insult eachother so much was because Metru Nui had a civil war so by the time of the second movie no one in the main cast trusted eachother when they first met because the conflict just ended not that long ago.
1:26 The idea of an entire group of eldritch demon robots acting like sitcom bullies to one of their members is really funny to me. Like I’m imagining a Makuta general fumbling an important campaign, and only avoiding punishment because he referred to it as “pulling a Spiriah”, which the other Makuta found so funny, they decided to ignore it and point and laugh at Spiriah instead.
I am currently in a Bionicle based RP group like D&D but it's a system specifically based around Bionicle called Doronai Nui. 'Just as Lego intended.' Watched this with my friend and we laughed so hard. Love the content that I discovered of you including the Ace Combat and now recent Bionicle bunge of videos.
You forgot a lot of words. Cordak is a slang term that can be all nominative, verbal and adjective. It's not an insult but means basically someone who failed at something at the worst possible level. Like the Toa Cordak.
No, the term "Cordak" took on the meaning of "desolation" after the death of Lesovikk's team and the local Turaga going mad and sending the entire Matoran population to Karzahni. Pretty sure before that, 'Cordak' was probably just the name of the island where the Toa team was based, like 'Cordak Nui.' Of course now, "Cordak Nui" means, "Great Desolation." It's fitting.
0:41 made me burst out laughing 🤣 also I used to learn Bionicle curses, to the point I would sometimes say Karzahni as an exclamation as they said it was in the encyclopedia both of which I read cover to cover. The only time someone got it was when of my roommates was a Bionicle fan. Pity he was a prick otherwise.
After watching this I can confidently say, without any proper research whatsoever, that there is absolutely roodaka rule 34 because that's just how the internet works
