Should've compared those to just letting the can sit in that bowl with ice for 60 seconds to see if the gadgets actually give you a significant improvement.
Well, if the manufactures didn't do their homework of making sure this works, then someome could sue for fraud
In america you can do this and get away with it, as america has no consumer protection laws.
These would be classed as "Novelty" items if anything
Assuming they all use the spin in ice mechanism you can assume that they do something

I feel like checking the temperature of the Coca-Cola while it's still in theses cooling gadgets (while they are also surrounded by ice), would give it an inaccurate temp. gauge. Considering the ice is already a frozen liquid.
Finally found a comment on this! Yes, he had to have been getting temperature reads on the ice more than the drink. It would’ve made more sense to open the can and then read the actual soda inside to eliminate the chance of reading the ice and the metal can.
The thermometer he was using has a laser meaning its crazy accurate and as he was moving around it was around the same temp so...

The surface of the can, the water covering the surface of the can, and the ice would all be the same temperature really quickly. That thermometer was worthless in gauging the effectiveness of the contents.

On the second to last gadget you are supposed to put water in the small container and in the biggest container. then put it into freezer so they both freeze. After frozen you put cofee into the middle container. This gadget will stay in freezer all you have to do is wash the middle part after use

Sure, the can was cold, but was the soda inside cold? I wanted him to open the cokes and pour into a glass and then take the temp.
If the can is cold then obviously the liquid inside will be cold too. The can is metal. Absorbs heat fast and distributes that heat quickly too. So the liquid inside will be as cold or as warm as the can.

Wrap your can in a wet paper towel, put them in the freezer. Easy.

normal ice forms and stays at around 0C, salt will lower the Freezing point to around -2C to maintain it's Equilibrium. so ice temperature will be -2. it will melt at -1.5.
yes you could get the water to -1.5C without it freezing in a salt water solution.

For the huge cup they should've put holders on the inside of the biggest container. That way it could've held the ice on the sides.

Pug Lord You're exactly right. Fill it maybe halfway up with water, and the smaller inner cup, you can fill almost completely with water. Stick it in the freezer. Wait until it's frozen solid. Fill up the middle cup with your beverage of choice. And BOOM! 😂😂😂😂😂

The hyper chiller container works great if you read the directions and use it properly. Your supposed to fill both the inner and outside chamber with water and freeze it. Once frozen you pour your hot drink in the big hole at the top. In 30-60 seconds it makes your drink nice and cold.

Just a suggestion on your car cupholder. You can cut the bottom off of a two-liter bottle, and size it to fit your cup and stick the neck of the bottle into your cup holder. It works for me.
Haha i once made a cupholder for an old 90s pickup by screwing a one liter with the top cut off onto the dash

Most of those will work a lot better if you add cold water to the ice (just like in the last one)! Also, pellet or nugget ice work better than ice cubes!

Checking the temperature of the outside of the can only tells u the temperature of the outside of the can, that's all. If u want to see which "gagek" works the best at cooling your soda Coke the fastest, u need to check the temperature of the actual soda Coke, otherwise you're only proving which device is the best at cooling the outside of your soda can. Also, if u want to chill the soda even faster, you should mix salt with the ice. It lowers the temperature at which water freezes and makes the ice colder.

That cooper cooler is definitely my favorite if you are camping somewhere with electricity, or having an outdoor party in the summer. Any others are best for pretty much anywhere else. I thought it might be good for fishing, but it's too noisy.
