    This was a great discussion, I recently just laid my daughter to rest, I'm trying not to shut down, still navigate my marriage, and continue to be a father to my son. This was helpful in the mist of my grieving process. Thank yall for helping me create the language to speak on my grieving process.

    i've been learning psychology, and we've been reading about how men (and some women) have a problem with expressing their emotions because they don't have the language to communicate what they really feel. Like they literally do not know the difference between stressed and frustrated, or angry and sad. so this tool seems like a real winner. Learn more about what emotions even exist, and then learn to recognize them in yourselves.

      @@BLACKMENDUETALK it's mostly been textbooks at this point, but we got some articles sprinkled in there about "Normative Male Alexithymia" going back 20 years. little bit different theories over the years, but generally they think it's related to the whole "boys don't cry" thing.
