Hello.... Did you you have a Beacon & Sensor on the table there? When would you use one rather than the other, as I really didn't understand that bit, and reading the datasheets didn't help.

We sure did, they do look the same.
If you just want a simple 'ping' that says 'I am here' then go for the plain beacon.
If you want a 'ping' that says 'I am here AND this is how hot it is, and this is how humid it is and I've just been moved and a magnet just tripped me' then you go for the sensor beacon.
