My 10 yr old daughter walked into my room tonight her face soaked in tears .. scared me .. I asked what was wrong .. she jumped into my arms and said this song came on while she was listening to a play list ( she loves Pink as do I ) in order to fall asleep .. she said it reminded her of Grandpa and how much she missed him .. then we both just cried ... 😭🙏
I'm sorry for your loss 🙏 it's never easy, doesn't get easier either. You left with an empty space, you miss tgst persons face, jokes, smiles and laughter, their embrace, their unique scent... They're all in a better place I'd like to believe. They still alive in our memory. Thats the only treasure we have left.
I lost my daughter 2 years ago. She was 28 and it was a sudden, tragic passing. She was and will always be half of my heart and soul. Although over two years have gone by, it feels as fresh as 2 days ago. It stings and punches me in the gut daily. I thank Pink for this song. I cry through it every time, but that helps. There’s also hope in the lyrics and a beautiful melody and voice. My daughter was also a singer. We shared songs all the time, so I can’t wait till I hear the ones she’s saved for me. ♥️
My Dad lived to be 93 years old. He was a Police Officer, in New York, for 25 years. He was a no nonsense Man & a disciplinarian. Never unfair or unjust, just firm & consistent, but my brother & I always felt safe & loved. One day before he passed, he asked me if I thought he was a tyrant? He is the reason I am a good Man & good citizen & am respected by others. I told him that I am all those things because of him.
My Dad died a month ago today... I miss him so much it hurts. He was the first man to love me. The one that had my back no matter what, even if he disagreed with my choices, he still loved me. He had a long 13yr fight with multiple different cancer diagnoses, but was the most stubborn, independent, superhero that a daughter could wish for.
I am 43yrs old & I can't even begin to imagine how I'm going to cope for another 30+ years without him. You will forever be my guiding light, I will love you forever Daddy xx
All I can say is we will get there in our own time.

My husband passed on march 30 th 2018 and as I've been drifting through this month of flooding memories i stumbled across this tune and felt a warm stillness and gentle squeeze and as if butterflies bursted in my tummy.
U cant imagine how strange and wonderful this felt and i just knew he was with me for even a little while after i could literally smell him as crazy as its sounds. I am so grateful for being gifted with this experience and the blessing of this song.

My uncle died a few years ago in a car accident (I was 6) and whenever I hear this song I instantly think of him. He was my best friend and honestly like a father figure to me. I miss him so much. And him being the person he is, he is definitely up there climbing trees and singing sweet songs. And I know he’ll be waiting for when I get there.

I miss all of them 😢too many people gone too soon. This song reminds me of my mom the most though because she used to go out with her friends to the bar. And also the part in the song where she asks is there a place u go to watch the sunset. Ny mom lived in Florida so she used to go to the beach or the jetties and read a book or write letters to friends cuz she wasnt on social media. So she wrote to her friends.
