Watching your videos has really opened a whole new world of openttd to me and I can't get enough of it! Thank you so much for posting these helpful and clear guides. Are you by any chance working on BBH guides? I learned the basic BBH principles from your LP series but 3-track BBHs still give me tremendous headache.
I'm looking forward to making a BBH tutorial video but it will require some good prep beforehand. But that would only be RR_LL, upgrading BBH beyond that would be a separate video I think.
What are all those short trains (single engines) in the intro/outro? Why are there so many of those trains close together on a track with little to no signals?
How do programmable signals compare to complex logic systems like this? Could you maybe do a video how to use the signals in a basic situation like this one?
At 02:58, why did you put in those two small branching-off bits at the end of the dead end track? Do these have a function, or is it only for aesthetics? Edit: I see similar small branching-off bits at 07:41 in your video "OpenTTD Logic: 01 Introduction to Logic Circuits, AND Gate, NOT Gate" [ th-cam.com/video/raQguSGIVX8/w-d-xo.html ]. Same question for those. Thanks for your interesting videos and blessings.
I just want to ask whether the command to see the two way red signal as a dead end isn't kinda cheaty. More importantly, can you use this command on random servers?
You can't change it on servers, however many servers have it on already, such as the reddit.com/r/OpenTTD servers, n-ice, CityMania.org. I thought BTPro.nl had it but I guess not. Anyway you can try asking your server admin to turn on the setting.
Is the any chance if we have f. e. Six same trains whaitng on lights to one track ho will be the first and why? (same lights same trains strait to one track same time)
I don't fully understand what you wrote, but if trains are refusing to take some tracks, make sure they are actually connected to the trains' destination. The big thing people always miss (including me) is un-electrified track that needs to be electrified.
@@holee9253 No problem. It actually is very useful, as it allows you to run all types of trains on any of the supplied railtypes. So, it's pretty good for converting trains from rail to monorail, monorail to maglev, etc. Or in his case, demonstrating paths, etc.

Wow, youve been uploading very often! Keep up the ottd content! I love it
I am planning on making 1.5 videos per week. Thank you for your nice comment!
a new video every second day? Dude dont break this :)
I am planning on making 1.5 videos per week for a while. Thank you for your feedback though :)
@@LugnutsK planning, not a reallity :(
I really wish you would make more content... very fun and informative.
Thanks for the video.
Nicely explained. Thnx 👌👍

James Moton They are only for aesthetics and don’t do anything. Just for fun :D
The poor drivers must be like "WTF WAS I HIRED TO DO!??!?"

what is the newgrf used in the beggining?
Is that yellow line path finding thing a GRF? Or is there a GRF for showing blocks?
How long did it take you to internalise all this? :) Every time I'm trying something like this, everything is broken and I can't figure it out :)
A while... I have been playing on and off for 8 or 9 years now :)
@@LugnutsK Time to get cracking then :) I only play occasionally for a few weeks every year, so my brain never had the chance to learn all the stuff.
how do i activate pathfinding

@@LugnutsK sorry, i Just need some for releas fast trains befor Cargo trains on same central line.
It's a trap!
Why are your tracks colored?
He's using "PURR".
@@SgtChip thanks a lot! 👍 I don't know if that's useful, but I will try it 😀
