I spent a dozen years in a car audio store managing the install division with 10 installers You guys do nice work I can’t believe how useful 3D printers are to installs these days Liked and subscribed
I love 9-1-1's because of the aesthetics of it. Cleaning up janky work to clean amazing work is like cuddling with your soul. You know those videos where someone cuts a cake perfectly and people are like "ah yes, a perfectly cut cake" that's what the end of 9-1-1's feel like. I forget the term, but you get those tiktok videos of someone cutting cake perfectly, or sorting marbles perfectly, or whatever. and its one of those "ah yes, this feels good" kinda thing. So yeah. 9-1-1's are awesome.
Im not professional audio but having wire and amp terminals where feet and really anything can fall just need seems like good idea especially how fast the carpet can burn
Watching, learning and appreciating. Anyone can slap in a system but few will do it right. The deep dive and explanations given along the way give a novice like me a good feeling you know what you are doing and are going to do it right. Kinda feel bad for the owner who paid twice. Also how unfun it can be dealing with someone else's work vs doing it right from the start. You guys make a great team.
Exactly what I was wondering about the JBL components front and back. I also picked up the D-6 1200, and the JBL Bass 8 for my 2010 Tacoma access cab. Can't wait to get started. You guys are a wealth of knowledge. Thanks for sharing your expertise.
Great job when it comes to all that great stereo equipment, wiring, tweeter housing and mid bass securing so you have the best sound stage without any rattle is huge in install ,another fantastic install that will last for years.
it looks like that person got a great deal! now he will get it done right & probably save on fuel with all that extra wire leaving. i love watching car audio done right! i wish i was closer to you all! Nice work
I think the biggest problem in car audio is shops put time limits on installs and the installers take quick shortcuts and we end up with an install like this. To do it the correct way takes time and corporate companies don’t want that they are all about making money.
Low melt solder, and flux will easily remove even the strongest solder. Everything will be liquid, and you can just wick it up with some fluxes s tranded wire. Long liquid work time. Thanks for your expertise men.
I'm not a stereo tech installer although, was blown away with the professional installation process, and always appreciate learning (the unknown) from someone whom is a journeyman of their profession. It is nice to see a professional job done correctly, by those whom take pride in what they do. Impressed, and new sub'd. Job well done guys.
Like 700$ to install stereo smart harness n amp wire kit. Didn’t even look at my truck. Stereo brand new under seat harness was already installed only thing I needed was wire kit. Lol.
Standard Mikey Shore install. Never take your car to them. Also, in my defense butt connectors are not bad if you crimp them right and tape them up. Question: what are your thoughts on electrical silicone to seal wire splices?
Where do you put the grounds in the f 150? Im see a few place by factory but not sure the best route. Ive got all my amps and battery in the middle where i have removed The center seat and console
What's a good single din cd player for my 2001Gmc Sierra Y'all already recommended the rockford fosgate self powered sub. What cd deck would work great with it single din?
75% of average diy thank a TH-cam video makes them an expert lol... 23 years exp I would ripp all that out and start fresh... and then again that's why I charge so much!!....
Nothing worse than paying good money and being done dirty by a shady shop. Thankfully, they ultimately brought it to the pros to have the install done correctly.
That's what I was thinking also I know @metra makes them, but they are plastic, and the ones here look solid, it would be alot easier for us guys an gals how like to do the work for our selfs Again thes 9.1.1 videos are cool to watch
That's why there paying u to fix it.u sound bitter. And exhausted.maybe time for a change.U said it's time for one of ur pet peeves, all I have heard is petpeeves.good luck dude
You could do things half way proper with the best of intentions, still doesn't make it right. There's no A for effort if you're paying a premium price for a top tier installation. What is the logic of using a 2 butt connectors between 7" if wire? Unacceptable. If I go to the bar and order a Grey Goose Martini & get served Absolut should I just be content that they didn't serve me Smirnoff?
The best decision this F-150 truck owner made was to bring it to Dean and Fernando. Love your work fellas.
It is so awesome/refreshing to see people taking pride in what they’re doing and taking the time/effort to do the best job possible…
Thank you for bringing back long format videos
Blows my mind such high quality audio components just for some backyard shop to mess it all up for u guys to have to fix

Like 700$ to install stereo smart harness n amp wire kit. Didn’t even look at my truck. Stereo brand new under seat harness was already installed only thing I needed was wire kit. Lol.
best part of 911's is watching dean and nando get mad.
Coming out with that tweeter solution was amazing!!!!
Gracias!, necesitaba este video, especialmente al final
Nooooooooooo!!!!
I was waiting for the Dean Amp rack build. Haha
Morning guys… Massachusetts checking in.
2 experienced guys 2.5 hours in were barley half way through taking this apart. Yee haw.

I've been waiting for the day that you guys had a 911 for Monte Carlo SS 2007 or a Impala SS 2008+...
I have a Kenwood dmx907s and Idatalink Maestro RR how do I bypass the e-brake
Same headunit in 06 f150 supercab and wired it to a switch.
Also which 4x6 and 6.5 go good also in the 2001Gmc Sierra?
Film the customers reactions!
I have idea of I would like to put in my 2001 Gmc Sierra but just wanted y'all's opinion.
75% of average diy thank a TH-cam video makes them an expert lol... 23 years exp I would ripp all that out and start fresh... and then again that's why I charge so much!!....
I have a build I want to do, but all the installers around me do chop jobs and charge way too much. I have to do it myself.
You can order a lot of the f150 parts from Sounds Good Stereo
Where is this shop?
Nothing worse than paying good money and being done dirty by a shady shop. Thankfully, they ultimately brought it to the pros to have the install done correctly.
do y'all sell those brackets to adapt the speakers?? I have that exact truck
That's what I was thinking also
I know @metra makes them, but they are plastic, and the ones here look solid, it would be alot easier for us guys an gals how like to do the work for our selfs
Again thes 9.1.1 videos are cool to watch
Make your own with wood or get the metra ones.
What under hood fuse block is this with the detachable base?
A real one. An anl fuse holder you can get from just about any car audio website.
My stomach churned when you pulled the dash kit out and I saw the rats nest
It looks like owner of truck did that shifty install him self. Unbelievable
When your stereo system installation costs more than your vehicle 🙃
Another one, expertly solved..
If you get it off by rubbing it, it will definitely stick to you...
That’s thee , I know someone that can do it for cheap 😅
That's why there paying u to fix it.u sound bitter. And exhausted.maybe time for a change.U said it's time for one of ur pet peeves, all I have heard is petpeeves.good luck dude
Very simple guys profesional work vs I know a guy that knows another guy he can do it for cheap!!! lol
