  • If get-rich-quick schemes worked, you would be rich. Everybody would be because everybody is looking for a shortcut. The secret is simple - you have to find your personal money signature. Until you do, you’ll stagnate exactly where you are.
    About the New High Society:
This channel is for those interested in leveling up and making significant improvements in their lifestyle. While the content focuses on upper-class environments, it is applicable to anyone looking to improve their social skills, make more money, or go after their dreams. Upper class is defined here as a specific, distinct culture in America that is not solely about money. This culture is different from class systems in other countries, but the principles discussed are still globally applicable. Find out more here: • Welcome to Wealth 101

This is one of the realest channels out there. It's the hard truth that those get rich quick schemes aren't worth it or sustainable, yet 95% of finance TH-cam is just selling that dream lol

Absolutely fantastic advice. I am an elder millennial and watched so many of my peers and people younger than me graduate right into a recession with degrees their parents pushed them into getting that people thought sounded smart. You absolutely have to be good at whatever it is you’re doing or you will not succeeded. My husband works in finance and is very good at what he does, but it did involve us having to pick up our lives and move to the complete other side of the country in order to get his career started. I am in e-commerce as an entrepreneur in an Indie arts field. I have so many people that want to do what I do and want to start small businesses and then they have absolutely no desire, drive, or discipline to actually make money. I wish more people had heard this advice when they were younger. ❤

Absolutely right. Anyone I’ve ever talked to in C Suite positions were masters of the craft.
And they all love the process more than the outcome. You can’t fake that.

This is the best advice i’ve gotten in a while, i’m going to be an architect. I wanted badly to become a lawyer before because as you said ”i’ve heard that they make a lot of money”. I would be the worst lawyer. But i actually have a passion for architecture and i’m genuinely interested in it, so i don’t mind making less money doing something i love.

Don’t assume you’ll make less money. It may take longer than someone who gets a big check right out of law school, IF they even get that check, but you can still make money if you want to.

Thank you! My biggest focus is going to be on separating what I am validated to be good at by my mom verses by others. My mom, for some reason, latched onto me picking to play an instrument in middle school (that I was required to do) and drawing as the things I was unbelievably talented at despite my classmates and teachers seeing how good I was in STEM topics. The lack of encouragement to foster the things I actually enjoyed and the overenthusiasm of the things I was doing mediocrly really messed me up. This shall be the focus of my journal prompting at first!

To clarify, I don't call my arts mediocre to insult my participation in the arts when I was young. I say that because, in music, my teachers did the bare minimum and never challenged us to do more, and i did drawing as an expression of my interest in beauty. I did get a teacher the last two years of high school that did push us, and I was proud of what we became, but I still put down that instrument the day after my last performance and never looked back because turns out I still didn't care for it even when I was challenged to get good. Maybe this speaks more for the lack of fostering more than a lack of talent, but I am REALLY talented at the things I'm ACTUALLY interested in because I was investing in fostering it for myself!

Journaling really is everything. I think it’s a requirement for personal discovery and development.

My step son loves gaming, and I tried to show him all the careers associated with it and he decided to do equipment operator and hasn't had steady work. He makes ok money, but he sabotaged himself.

Definitely - out of curiosity, did you find this page from Shorts? Asking because I’m not sure if I’ll keep posting to Shorts

@@xavier.clb1I don’t know if it’s worth anything but I found the channel through reels, it was rather hard to find since your ig handle is rather different than your TH-cam. Keep up the good work you have no idea how much you help people.
