Now that's an entertaining ride operator! That's how I remember most carnivals in the 90s. The ride operators used to have so much fun and actually enjoyed their jobs or at least did a good job pretending for the guests!
DJ Charles was the best! It was our favorite ride to go on. After the hurricane he moved over to the swings for a little and made that ride so much more fun!
I love this ride so much, its the best ride in seaside, i love it cause DJ Charles is so fun and active, theres good music, good vide, i love the bubbles smoke flashing lights and what i love most is how its over 10 minutes long, others musik express's or himalaya's are short and not as fun as this one in Seaside. I hope seaside brings this ride back for summer 2014. Seaside will not be the same without this ride. BEST RIDE EVER!!

Man on man this vid brings back memories I'm from NYC but now live in Charlotte NC and I remember going on this ride during the summer in my younger days and even driving up every summer to visit fam after we moved south and Casino Pier was a must stop just to enjoy DJ Charles and this ride. We def got our money's worth on this ride and night rides were LIFE itself 10-15mins of pure fun and memories
DJ Charles...I'm from Toms River and our spot on the beach every week in the summer is right next to the pier. And my daughter (13) and her BFF always are on your ride. We all love the Musik Express and the music you play! I hope when they rebuild, they replace he Musik Express and bring you back to what you do best! You are the highlight of that pier!! We really hope to see you next summer!!!
DJ Charles, never mind what people think about your musik express ride! You did an excellent job entertaining the customers! Too bad the pier was damaged by Hurricane Sandy……….it’ll be sorely missed…………😢😢😢

I hate that ride. Last year my mom and my sister forced me to go on it. I almost fell out of my seat on that ride. I was so scared to death. Went it on before and I'm never going on it ever again. Thats my mom's favorite ride. My favorite ride is the Orient express. Lesson: Do not force people to go on a ride that they don't want to go on. Even if it their first time. Some people don't want to know what their first time on a fair ride is.
