      @victorlim5077 nikon rumor had a chart comparison of each camera and R6ii was just as fast as Nikon Z6iii. I wonder if the test was not done properly.

      @@mlai2546 Gerald Undone did the readout test and the Z6iii was sub10ms. Very impressive. Most competitors are around the 14-20ms range.

      @victorlim5077 the readout for Z6iii is quite impressive. I am just saying Canon R6ii also has a sub 10ms readout. But yet the rolling shutter is clearly much worse than the Z6iii.

    Very good comparison. I’ve handled the R6 II many times and agree that it is a fantastic camera. I’m a Nikon shooter but would have considered buying a R6 II “if” the Z6 III wasn’t such a great overall camera. I should be hopefully buying my Z in December. Keep up the good work sir.

This great review helps keep camera companies on their toes and makes them lift their game for these very expensive electronics. Good comparison of these two cameras that some people might be deciding between. Just wondering when you did the video IBIS stability check, did you try putting the Nikon in Sport mode and pan back and forth to see if that reduced the jitter? If so, did it make any difference?

    • @FramesTM
      @FramesTM  9 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Sport mode is not made for when the video guy is static… It gave unacceptable results when standing

    Nice video Frames - there is no doubt that both of those cameras are excellent and also no doubt that the Z6III bests the R6II - which we would expect given that it is 1.5 years newer. I think we are now solidly back to the way things were in the DSLR days between Nikon and Canon - where one would best the other and then the other would strike back and hop scotch the first and so on an so forth. The ultimate result of this was better and better cameras and gear for all consumers. I am glad to see this is where things are again today - we are all now winners again regardless of brand!

      @@FramesTM Yeah - I guess its a little disappointing but you can't have the speed with no compromise. The truth is that in today's world AI post production noise reduction is so good that it probably doesn't even matter for still if you shoot in RAW.
      It seems like in every other way, the Z6III is over delivering.

    Hey there. I use a Nikon ZF too. I noticed that the camera focuses much better for bird in flight shots when we use electronic shutter rather than mechanical. Is that the case with u as well? For zF or z6 iii?

    I have a doubt ...does the nikon z6 3 only saves 6k and 4k 120 files in cf express card ? Or can these big 6k files be saved in normal sd card too?? As i dont want to invest in cf express card so can i save 6 k videos in normal sd card? Plz reply

    • @FramesTM
      @FramesTM  9 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Theoretically, you can write upto 6k 60 in RAW normal quality in a V90 card with 250MB/s sustained write speed. And high quality raw 6k 30p in the same type of card. Of course all 4k raw can be recorded in a good V90 card. But they will fill up quickly. So it’s cheaper to buy a half decent big cf express card.

    Thanks for making the comparison video and especially demonstrating the differences in high iso images. Personally i must say that the R6II RAW-files from ISO 3.200 and higher look better to me than the Z6III files. To me the R6II has more details in the hair area, it looks sharper and the Z6III seems to have a bluish magenta cast, whereas the hair color in the canon files is still brown. But thats just my perception.

    You're a big Nikon fan. But from the start of this video you did something that was very interesting. You showed the R6II with a beautiful, sturdy, Canon white lens. What I actually hate about the new Nikon Z system is their cheap, plastic, overly large glass. Canon and Sony G master glass looks and feels like a tank, but they are more compact. Nikon Z glass are massive, plastic, and cheap feeling. Nikon has become the poor mans choice.

      Thank you but how? The canon lens was just out of the box. But Nikon is 2.5 years old. The canon will become loose and more dust will go inside. And it’s lighter for a reason. The Nikon bodies feel like metal chunks. Canon? Really light fibre ones
