I'm currently an intern and my work environment is extremely nice. they offer us theoritical and practical trainings using their best executives in each department. whenever we ask something theu never refuse to teach us. most importantly we get chances to involve with their important projects. they even take our ideas which and give full credit to us which is amazing. but we also have the same chair issue tho😂. we have our own chairs but sometimes when we leave for something our chairs are vanishing. however they are extremely nice people and we don't feel pressured at all.

And how long do you do your internship though? Do you work full time or like 1-3 days a week? Just asking because I’m looking for a marking internship and I really can’t afford to go and take up an internship without pay since I have bills to pay.
After 5 years in my 1st company, I took a jump to TCS. for a MONTH, I literally did NOT have a cubicle assigned and I was LITERALLY asked to sit in someone else's cubicle whoever was on leave that day or I had to awkwardly stand awkwardly HERE AND THERE, working alongside someone else ... AWKWARDEST EXPERIENCE
I didn't have the best experience as an intern. So I promised myself I would be good to my interns. I had my own internship program plan, I encouraged them to have a sense of responsibility and made sure they understood the importance of their tasks, I gave workplace and career advice. Guess what, the kids didn't care. All they wanted to do was gossip with each other, stare at their phones and collect their internship allowance (minimum wage) to buy the newest sneakers or phones.
The chair problem for me is all about the height adjustment... if you missed one day in the office the next day it's like a treasure hunt for your chair...
I started an internship in a travel agency and they were completely unethical ,They got an order from a Jain family of 30 people to book a hotel for 7 nights but it should be a complete veg hotel where non veg food is not even cooked and the agency lied about having it done while they booked a hotel where Non veg food is cooked ,I mean it's unprofessional and if the family get to know what actually is going on the company can get sued too ,and People started treating me rudely on my very third day ,It was my first internship and I didn't felt any excitement ,I left on my third day .
I am glad that my internship experience was very good. I had my own work station, with a proper computer, printer, intercom. and no I was never asked to bring tea for my supervisor.. and there was loads of research work and reports to write. it was a great working experience. even my supervisor took me out for luncheons.
@@RMatt2016 it was a full time intership with loads of research work, preparing reports, case studies etc which often required print outs. This is how international organisations work, you don't have to run around for a print out, it's at your service all the time.
I feel lucky asf rn. My first internship was through a connection I got w/ my church and I'm getting to implement software across the branches and acc getting good work and recognition, paid!!!
My country is South Africa, and some internships want work experience, ever since i finished my NQF level 8 i have been applying and I'm getting nothing. they always say they got a better candidate. It's so sad how some companies post to hire and do interviews Jst for protocol while knowing already who they gonna hire
Pretty much. For my IT/PMO internship, i got sent on an ice cream cake run and had to post a social media blog on the company’s intranet site. Also had to do a presentation in front of all the interns and leaders, including the division CIO. It didn’t really matter much even though they made it seem like it could lead to a returning offer. 😂
That is how spit reaches in people’s coffee and they also die from unknown causes.People have a weird way to treat people bad and then trust them with their food.
