@@dopp4571 I think you meant "mouse" not "mouth"? Though, that's pretty funny image. Maybe one day! LOL I did try a wireless "mouth" at one point. It was an apple mouse and had bad review. The batteries don't have an appropriately snug compartment and everytime they lose contact/power, you have to set it up again. Impossible if you don't have any other alternative. :P

What saved my Mac was turning it off and holding the power button for 10 seconds and then waiting about 10-15 seconds and turning it on when it turned on my mouse was working perfectly had days without using my Mac because of that little problem I even thought of buy a new one thousand thanks I am forever grateful 🙏🏻

This video was helpful. Deleting the trackpad files is what it took to fix it. However, the way I did it was to search for and delete all trackpad files. And it did not work until I restarted my MacBook. Thank you.

The thing is, it works well on Apple Diagnostics, so I know it's not a hardware problem but does not normally even after multiple NVRAM SMC resets and adjustments to those settings. Any suggestions?

@@RoyMacs I reinstalled Big Sur then updated it. Still same prob. I even went back and deleted my entire HD on Disk utility and allowed Internet recovery to fix it to go back to original OS (wc is Mojave). Still not working. Even in safe mode it doesnt work, it only works on Apple Diagnostics UI. I dont understand whats wrong.
Ohh also my trackpad prefs says no trackpad is found. I dont understand how to resetup both keyboard and trackpad properly.

I can still move my cursor and click things. But the other gestures like switching between full-screen apps or swipe with three fingers to see mission control or opening the launchpad will stop responding suddenly when working. To get them working again, I have to restart every time. Any suggestion?

@@Elif-sx1zn Unfortunately, nope. It kind of went away/stopped happening. I don't remember exactly when I last had this issue, but I think it was a while ago. MacOS had an update and I think that was when it stopped? Sorry I couldn't be much help.

I think I have one but you'll need to back up your Mac first
try going into recovery by shutting down your Mac and turn it on while pressing cmd and R
then go to disk utility and click on your hd and click reformat or erase make sure its apfs
then after erasing go back into the menu and click reinstall/install macOS follow that and you should have a working Mac in 1-3 hours depends on your internet connection
