Ive had a GT for 5 months now - went for yatch blue - I love it. Range isnt an issue for me and the fact here in uk Teslas are really common and not seeing another GT on the road is a bonus - Ive had RS6, M5, 911 - and the kia is just better than all of them.
I recently got one as well in white which was my first choice then the matte gray and last the black one. Blue is my favorite color but I just didn't like the yatch blue as more of a dark blue type or guy. 😊 I also like baby blue like the upcoming 5N. I personally prefer the GT over the 5N tho cause I don't need a track car so I love the opening sunroof! It was a must for me even tho I like the ioniq 5 looks but only on the outside where with the EV6 I like it both inside and out. The 5N interior is nice tho but the outside is a little too much for my taste. I guess I'm getting old haha 😊
Steve, it's always great to watch one of your reviews. I have to admit I've never viewed Kia as the maker of a sporty muscle car, but 576 HP certainly disabused me of that opinion. On the interior design, though, one has to wonder why Kia went with two infotainment screens rather than merging them into one. You've got the screen in front of the driver, and a second screen between the driver and passenger at the same height. Why not make it one wide screen?
Thanks Patrick! I thought the same thing with the performance of the EV6 too, even the lower trims have pretty great capability. I think the reason for the split screen is the cost. A curved display was probably way pricier in comparison compared to the split view. Similar to the way Ford did with their new S650 Mustang
The middle section can't be seen due to the steering wheel so it would be pointless. I'm fine with the dual screens to keep both of the sections separated. Yes it's due to cost too.

The yacht blue is a great color on the EV6, great choice! Is it the first time that you've owned an EV?
