So when you buy the scanner you need to connect it to the laptop and then to Ancel web site to registered and then to update it? when you do all these you have to have the devise connect it to the laptop?.........seems is like the sat nav updates when you buy a sat nav ......

@@SillyReviews guess what, it worked with me as well just yesterday. Now I have another problem the device can check the ABS only and no communication when checking the engine. (OBD) Section
After a lot of experience with this unit, I wouldn’t recommend. It’s not cheap. A couple hundred more dollars and you enter into somewhat pro grade tools. That’s probably the way to go.

Do not buy, if you lose or break the lead or connector in a busy work shop they dont sell spares or give wiring diagrams so you have to buy another scanner

Install software/driver. Open software. Then plug in device. Try that.
Of no, restart computer then try again.
