@@cyber_xiii3786I’m pretty sure they don’t. The original creator turned out to be a really bad person and left the internet. Also the original story was objectively horrible with bad pacing and inconsistent writing. Similar to how fans try to “correct” official Sonic media, other fans of this specific story tried to make better or alternate takes that aren’t as shit.

@@WuhHuhthe reason as to why this fandom is still alive is because of the passion people still somehow has after all these years for this bloody hedgehog, there have been quite the ups and downs in the Sonic.exe and casual Sonic fandom, but one thing you can't go wrong on, is the pure dedication these fans have to make an originally objectively shitty creepypasta into something surprisingly frightening at times!
I don't even find Rewrite super creepy or anything, I honestly just really like his design and the way he's animated

An extremely tiny insignificant correction (In other words, it’s 🤓ing time):
There isn’t some connected Sonic.exe universe. Each character exists within their own isolated canon, either being a reimagination of the original creepypasta (due to it being complete garbage), or an entirely new Sonic-related horror story. In Rewrite’s case, it’s the former.
Also the lore on the FNF mod’s description is outdated.
Ik some of the exes have had crossovers in mods before so are those just one-off things?

Usually something gets a FNF mod after it has already been a popular existing concept/meme and the mod gets made because of it being a meme. Seeing something appear in an FNF mod first before anything is unusual in my book
Stuff that first appeared in Funkin before gaining popularity elsewhere were always my favorite type of mod. Felt like new artists were building their own IP just by messin around for fun, and I think thats really cool.
As an average Rewrite enjoyer, seeing him get onto LIMC is beautiful.

@@somemadnessfan4763 The people calling FNF music "beep boop printer music" are the same people that praised the "turi ip ip" song when that was the meme of the week, despite how mediocre it is, also in general why do people even like those sorts of songs with the weird high pitched non-melodic voice clips, because they aren't even like FNF music as it mostly uses the beep boops in place of actual vocals, with the turi ip ip stuff the voices just kind of go on loop and occasionally are cut up but that's about as far as it goes most of the time. And I'm not judging their taste of course, this is just my opinion, but seems pretty hypocritical to ridicule one genre of music while listening to pretty much the same genre but with a little less effort put into it.

The funniest thing is that it's probably the "worst" video related to rewrite by Springless. Like, it's literally a four seconds video that was probably created to be a joke and nothing more than that. And here we are, the video has 2 million views, leaving the serious videos, like Satanic Panic or Sonic animation test "unnoticed" in comparison to the kick. Like, don't get me wrong, I don't wanna be a grumpy old man here, but it's really weird that this animation in particular had to become THAT popular

the sonic is called "rewrite" heres how he works: he will make the player hallucinate and think something is there, rewrite is an A.I that will try to adapt into the players mind and consume their soul, if one of his "friends" die near him, their souls will become a "death ring" wich is then collected by rewrite and put onto one of his limbs, either leg or arm. and he can rewrite reality, forms, anything he wants in the game. hope this helps
