It's always funny to me to see comments like this, because the channel is pretty much just that, "guitar pedals and shit".
As someone who has worked as a marketer in the music industry for years, many of my friends and colleagues have found their way toward making a hobby or even a living out of creating audio devices and the like, and I find it to be a unique joy in my life to converse about their work in this capacity.
This video is about celebrating the highlights of what my friends in the industry have achieved and highlighting some of their accomplishments that I think are remarkable from this last year.
To call it cringe is certainly a valid opinion, but I would hate to live with such a small perspective of the world that I felt the need to tear down someone else's positive reflection.
      Cheers.

So don’t engage with it and move on. it’s not for you and that’s ok. But it’s no reason to bring down other people’s innovations. “Get over yourself”

@@signalpath yo, your videos always brighten my day and inevitably lead to me busting out something you’ve featured for a jam. Screw the haters.
Also, mad respect for making this the pinned post 😂😂😂😂

so edgy. Now go back to your video games and let other people be creative while you enjoy their creations they make with the shit they enjoy.

I finally decided to get the Chase Bliss Onward when it was recently on offer even though I already have the MOOD MKII, Blooper, Habit, Hologram Microcosm and Hexe Revolver IV, it stills has some uniqueness and combines a lot of all those other pedals in a single small unit for a smaller pedalboard on gigs I don't want to carry all the other stuff, your demo on the Onward convinced me of getting one!

Thanks for the note! I'm glad it was useful :)
Is the Revolver IV worth it in 2025? I've always been a fan of HEXE but never been able to afford it, but I've been thinking about pulling the trigger for a little while

@@signalpath Hi, yes, absolutely recommended the Revolver IV! it's one of my favorite pedals, obviously with time and programming you can recreate most of what it does with other pedals or plugins but the way it's designed and programmed makes it super musical and easy to use, it's a similar thing of when I was not sure on buying the Onward because other pedals I already have can recreate most of it but once you use it you discover that it has some uniqueness that can't be recreated, I use my Revolver IV with a Hotone switch of 2 buttons TRS for extra expressions and a Boss expression pedal, that alone gives me plenty of live options for weird musical FXs and it's more controllable than the random glitches and bleeps of other Chase Bliss pedals or the Hologram Microcosm, I even have several great iOS apps for granular FXs, delays and loopers but using them live especially on improvisation jams tends to be more difficult and I also have to pre-assign a MIDI controller etc, with pedals like the Onward or Revolver IV you get a lot of musical ideas and weird FXs pretty easy live without too much pre-planning, also, the Revolver IV is very sought-after second-hand and when they are listed they're bought pretty quick so you don't lose money if you decide to sell it after, when i ordered mine directly with Hexe I had to wait like 6 months for it to be ready, they're not as easily available as other pedals

A lovely retrospective as usual. In terms of gear in 2025, MyVolts Silent Alchemist power supply is high on my list of stuff to buy - it’ll be nice to have 8 power slots for outdoor jams. Other than that, the Zoom L6 mixer will be hitting me soon to save some desk space. Another tape emulator would be nice (whether it be a second Generation Loss or something new) and then I think I’m good.
Of course, you’re no doubt gonna demo something that I’m gonna salivate over very soon😂😂😂

The most bang for your buck: The Boss GX10. It is basically Boss' Flagship modeling with nearly every Boss effect. And the UI is actually intuitive. 👌

Appreciate you and thanks for every post of '24! For me all-in with modelers, i.e., the Helix Floor since '17, you top my list of pedal experts sharing insights to inspire the modeling community. BTW, total respect for your take on Balaguer. Asger Mygind of Vola gushes with praise of his Gaia 7 baritone. Hoping to here him live with that beauty in 2025. Happy Holidays and cheers for a banger of a 2025! Thanks again so much!

I have such a crush on balaguer. I’m actually right down the street from their Pennsylvania headquarters, but I still don’t have one in the rack yet. Maybe in 2025?

I'm definitely partial, but I think their stuff is really killer. What model are you eyeing?

@@signalpath If I could come across one I’d definitely snag a non-baritone growler. I’m definitely prone to the more traditional fender styles. But I think the espada and thicket look awesome, too
