Fastline Turbos Hybrid VF23 IHI Turbo Wastegate Porting
มุมมอง 9665 ปีที่แล้ว
Today I took my Fastline Turbos Hybrid VF23 to have the wastegate ported due to the previous VF23 that I had having a good amount of boost creep. It was also good to get another professional opinion on the turbo that I have recently purchased.

A video about the Fastline Hybrid VF23 turbo that I have just purchased, I will be clocking it to fit my car. This video is for reference to anyone looking at purchasing a turbo from Fastline as I couldn’t find a lot of information about the company prior to purchasing. I hope that this helps.

Nice ! Im going to do same on my gsr 🫡
Thanks for the amazing video. I got the same ones and realize they are a bit too strong in the height driver of other cars would be. Do yours blind as well?
I didn’t find that myself, I think you can adjust the height of the beam (I no longer have that bike so can’t recall how).
The OEM bolt is actually an M12x1.25 bolt. A fine pitch. I wonder if R&G will sell just the threaded adaptor insert? They will sell a truck load! Cheers! Great bike!
got a gixxis of my own, the factory bulb is sub-par at best. gonna order this one now for the dark nights ahead. thanks for the guide!
thank you for your video !!
Still recommend the light?
How much did it cost!
Is it legal ?
Yes as long as the bulb doesn't dazzle. Motorcycles were allowed LED lights from 2021.
Isn't installing aftermarket LED illegal? The housing is made for halogen/filament bulbs. LED housing are different.
No the rules changed in 2021. No idea why but LED lights are legal now. These newer LED replacement bulbs have the LED chips in the same place as the halogen filament so beam pattern should be the same.
Thanks for this video. It really helped me out today.
How did you hinge the front of the spoiler?
hi, where did u get your cowl seat from ?
Hi mate. I have a gsxs750, so you can simply buy this led bulb and it’s plug and play? You don’t need a relay etc for it? Surely this is too simple???? Is it genuinely as easy as it looks? I didn’t realise you could change from a standard crap orange bulb to an led without relays etc.
It is as simple as the how to, I’m no mechanic which is why I post things like this to guide others who may also not be overly technical as to how I achieved the end result. You may have to switch the bulb back for the day of MOT testing though as LED headlights aren’t a standard fitment on the bike (depends on how clued up your MOT tester is).
Thanks so much, gonna order one now. The standard bulb in the UK GSXS750 is like something from a knackered French Citroen from the 80’s!!
@@jackwednesday it's silly that they still sell fast motorcycles then equip them with the most terrible headlight bulbs on earth. I had to swap out the bulbs on my brand new 125 recently because the main beam was a terrible 35w halogen!!!. I replaced it with an LEDPERF bulb and I went from not being able to see a damn thing above 15mph to now being able to do the same drive at 40mph, all while actually using a little less energy so my battery isn't under as much stress.
Side lights video?? Ordering mine tonight 👍🏻
That's probably the only bike with spools placed so low. Had you used a general L shaped rubber paddock stand it would have been fine. I don't see the reason to buy a Suzuki specific stand since other quality brands produce universal stands to fit pretty much all bikes. For example Bike-Lift and LV8 Elevate are Italian motorcycle equipment manufacturers whose stands are well priced
The hole thing ... I doe in 2 minutes, without speaking.
Cungratulayshons
Thanks for the assist with removing the ring to get the rubber boot in place!
nice video
Amazing install vid bro
Will this affect the highbeam trigger or will is still work as standard?
All works exactly as it did previously, so high beam is still switch activated
would have turned the motor round, so that it's faster to go up, than down. Nice job tho, like it!
It doesn’t look £115 better… this needs to be about £60…
Agreed, they didn’t need to provide a new base, just a template to drill a hole for the bracket and there’s the money saved
Is it better than halogen light because i have original and its very hot. Is halogen less overheating?
It is better than the standard bulb, part of the reason for changing is there are reports of the headlight lenses cracking as they can get too hot with the standard bulb.
@@deanskirrow yeah thats why i am also thinking about changing
What is the bulb number? Look cool to put the running lights amber.
Of course the light i bought from revzilla the cap doesn't come off its a part of the body. Oh well cut the rubber I did.
Where did you get the black signal covers?? Mine are bright Orange I want those
Hi these are the stock ones that came with the bike so should be available from Suzuki parts
Awesome color👌🏻
Amazing video! Could you please share the part number so we can order from the dealer? I've been searching for your specifc model, however, the only one I can find with Suzuki is this one: 51800-48810-000, which is so ugly to be honest. Thank you!
Part no.51800-48810-000
Have just fitted mine, unfortunately still in winter storage, brilliant light though, great delivery from France as-well,thank you for the info on how to do it👍👍
thanks for sharing, help me solve the installation problem👍
Hiya, what tank stickers are those?
The central sticker is a genuine Suzuki tank protector, the side grips on the tank and panel below were cut to shape by myself using a sheet of Easi-Grip.
Got the exact same bike as you mate. What are your thoughts with that visor? Did it make much difference? Not happy to see its not a matt finish tbh bit mis leading of the ads 🤨
Honestly I can’t say it makes a lot of difference although I don’t feel the wind pushing me back or get too much spray on my body in the rain so maybe it does do something!
@@deanskirrow i feel like i cant feel thw wind pushing me back riding without it to be honest and thats comparing it against my z650 that had a windscreen which felt worse to ride on motorways. May give it a pass then. 100% getting that seat cowl though 👌 Cheers for the vid
Where can l buy the meter visor?.Thank you.
This is available from any UK Suzuki dealer, I don’t know for other countries
Very good video. Can you let us know how's difference in riding with meter visor please...?
I bought it to take the spray off my body when riding in the rain and I feel that it does do that even though it doesn’t deflect all the wind
Absolute no benefit ... take the money for some Beers.
Did you have to change the relay?
No change to the relay
Great vid. You got any pics or vids of the light beam?
Thanks, unfortunately I haven’t any pictures of the beam as I have now moved up to the 1000cc so no longer have the bike.
Damn I thought only subaru guys used vf turbos
Awesome thank you .
Awesome video thank you .
that miata tho!
Many thanks, Dean. The trickiest part was fitting the black metal converter(?) box - connected between the H4 and light bulb of the LedPERF - into some space of my MT-07 (2018) headlamp unit. It's a squeeze. The box is now held in place by cable ties. Cheers!
Hello. Thanks for a great video. I've got a Suzuki gsx 750. I bought the led perf lamp after watching your video, but it seems it came with a different configuration than the one in your video (but I might be wrong). The led comes with the "three pin" plug attached. Will this three pin plug fit the native attachments on the bike, or, do I have to do any chopping/re-wiring? Many thanks.
The 3 pin plug should go into the connector that was pulled off the back of the original bulb (H4 Connector).
Thanks
What size bulb are the side lights? T10 or t5 maybe?
AL9 I believe
Hi mate would you be able to tell me how you did the wiring please? Would really apreciate if you did thnks mate
What is it that you need to know? I did put a diagram of how I wired it, which I actually used the other day in the slides?
Sounds like a bumblebee farting..lol
Unrelated, but couldn't help not notice your bar end mirrors. Can you tell me what they are? Really like them!
They were just a set that I picked up from EBAY
Hi I bought the same type and did all the steps But the light is not working properly The low light works as a high light And the high light work as a low light I tried to reverse the the light But the same result Do you have any advice on this?
Was it the same brand? As it uses a h4 connection is shouldn’t be able to work in reverse and if that is the case I would contact the supplier
@@deanskirrow yes Same brand and model, and same type of bike also Everything is the same as in the video and I also applied all the steps
@@madof7150 I would definitely contact LedPERF then, as there may be a fault within the wiring of the bulb itself
