My personal take on the "10 levels" format, but applied to sleight-of-hand. Enjoy!

Both versions of the 10 levels of Sleight of Hand are extremely impressive. I really like all of the methods that were used in both videos.
For what it’s worth, I stumbled across that video by pure accident and thought “okay yeah that looks interesting enough.”
Then I decided to try to learn some basic card handling and now I have a small bag of tricks to entertain my kids and my coworkers. All that to say, thank you for getting TH-cam algorithmed to me.
His misdirections is literally so good, then when he looks up at the camera, I look at his gaze instead of his hands lmao and I know he GOT ME
Is there even any misdirection? The closest thing to it is the false dealing, but the rest (and even the false dealing) is just sheer control.
There's no misdirection, it's purely skill. You clearly don't understand anything at all.
@@XixyLeasor Misdirecting someone by gaze is misdirection. Even if it isn't purposeful, this comment proves there _is_ misdirection in this video.
@@lilyofluck371 I think the point is that his control of the deck does not require misdirection. Misdirection is only relevant if the trick requires it, but he doesn't need to misdirect you because his control is flawless. It's not really a debate about misdirection but the validity of misdirection versus control.
Never thought it could be possibile to have such control over cards, I can only imagine how much time and effort it would take to reach such a skill. Chapeau!
Started watching magic vids in 2020. Stumbled across your channel a few months ago. You inspired me to pickup Card College Vol 1 (also picked up J.B. Bobo's "Modern Coin Magic"). What I love about your style is that you don't rush what you're doing and it flows so naturally. I see way too many sleight of hand artists blitz out their moves as fast as possible which just makes it hard to follow, especially for someone that doesn't know what's going on.

People posting comments like it's fake. I think that's just because they don't understand that this is actually possible.
I see and understand all of the "tricks" you do in this video. Which is not the point of the video, it's not about the magic part. It's about the sleight of hand part which you do clearly describe.
What's amazing is how well executed this is, it looks so natural and with confidence. It's like seeing somebody really good with an instrumental. You understand what's happening. But most people would not be able to do it. I'll just sit back and appreciate the work. I appreciate you describing what you do as you do it. Center deals or second bottom deals would not be that impressive if we did not know you did it.
I remember this video from 2 years ago, I thought in the start this is the same video, but the title don't match. it says way too new of a date and 2.0. It all become clear when you told it in the end :) !

I don't care that it can be learned and has a scientific explanation, it's real magic. Personally, I like Second Deal the best. You will never get tired of watching this magic.
to fully assuage all those doubters talking about camera tricks, you could get a few continuously moving elements running in frame of your shot, like an analog clock face, lava lamp, or even a buncha hamsters in a glass tank. heck, get a disco ball and some moving coloured lights that hit all the other moving elements, generating unpredictable combinations, allowing some of the randomised backlight to illuminate your hands and even the cards too.
level 11: subvert all these expectations and incorporate actual camera tricks into the sleight of hand while emphasising all of the anti-camera-trick implements.
When level 2 already seems insane it's intimidating to say the least
