    Good to have your back Jim, haven’t known what to do with my free time without a new video to get mesmerised by, they really are greatly appreciated and this one is no exception, I know they take up a lot of your time and you don’t always feel up to, so thank you 👍🏼 On another note a few months ago I picked up a Halfords Microfibre Wheel Glove for £4 to get behind the wheels which I’ve been loving in combination with the wheel woolies, thought you might be interested in. Think the next purchase needs to be the RaceGlaze water filter been really struggling in this heat wave.
    Ps how many likes do you get today 30 minuets into posting on this 37 minute video, we know it’s going to be great, always is

    Jim have you seen Hyde’s serum rust stopper for use on the discs.
    Great work as always my friend.
    You seem in a better place than the last video. Many of us were concerned for you.

    Sorry Jim was this a classic spot the movie cutting mistake? 28:27 "I tend not spray on the glass", then at 29:51 you spray directly on the windscreen!!! It had me giggling :-p That is one cool looking car.

    • @WhiteDetails
      @WhiteDetails  6 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      haha! OK you got me.. "tend not too", "but actually on occasion, where the glass is large enough, I do..." Good spot!

    Hi, thanks for a great video. Have you tried Bilt Hamber Atomic? I find it completely stops any rust on the discs.

    I have an XK (same year) with a standard size rear plate. I agree yours looks better. I need to buy one from the same place that did my current ones in carbon 3D gel but they don't list the XK. They have various cars listed with this kind of shape of plate but no XK! A few Astons and the Jag XJ.
    They say they THINK the XJ one will fit but it's not just about size is it, the shape has to be correct to fit the shape of the recess one the car.
    Do you happen to know if yours was sold as an XK rear plate or if it was an XJ or maybe even an Aston Martin one? I think the DBS one might be a good fit.
    Other number plate websites I've looked at do list the XK but either don't do the carbon 3D gel I need to match the front plate or else don't give the XK plate dimensions for me to check.
    Any help from anyone at all gratefully received!

    I noticed that your windscreen / windows were not coated with anything, I know you are testing a ceramic coating on your bonnet. Can I recommend Aquapel for your windows - so much better than gtechniq / carbon collective etc glass coatings. 1 application to side windows 4/5 years still excellent. Windscreen is 12/18 months depending on usage. Was about £7 a tube, Chinese sellers on ebay have it down to £2 ish - hopefully not fakes.

      carlos miguel labalan i was going to the comments to see if someone noticed that. You could see the gunk that came out of the brush when it touched the car. Possible he was just been lazy to get another one from inside. But bad move especially when you are filming and other detailers watching
