How lovely a tribute for you Joyce. You touch so many lives with your singing and with sharing the joy you bring. Go on like this for years to come- Michael
Gail Watt Kudos to these young people! I was backstage with you while you were waiting and waiting to learn if maybe, maybe there would be time for you to sing. I listened to you from outside, enjoying your music and hoping it was good for you too. Well, from this video, it seems all was GREAT - what smiles - what honesty! Fun singing to, and for Joyce from 10 feet away? Yes, I bet - never to be forgotten! Good luck to you all. Thanks to Joyce for posting this video, I can look at and listen to you over and over again.....love from the grey-haired lady 'Gail from Montreal' Canada
That was so incredibly beautiful! I would have cried if a group of talented people sang that to me. :) You are totally a worthy person of this serenade. :D
As another viewer of this wrote on the Arts Journal site.... For those who have chosen a life in music, sometimes the daily struggles, sacrifices and hard work can lead us to forget why we chose this path in the first place. But then, thankfully, there are moments like this - so simple, pure and heartfelt - when we immediately remember, “Oh, yeah, that’s why.” I could not agree more! Bravo!
Oh my goodness I grew up going to Christian schools and this song I've sung in so many choirs! It was so nice to see such a good rendition of it!! Thank you for posting :)
