I know i been saying it for years. These mods make for way better racing and Jesse is a mod racer not a late model racer. Well at least he is better at mods. Don't come at me with wheel time he has less mod wheel time then late models.
It also helps that Jesse went to Michigan to race some more with it. Mods are a whole different breed. I'm pretty sure. I haven't seen the rules this year. I think these mods are running 604 crates.
Good job Jesse. Well done plus you beat Schrader. It's a shame you didn't cover Jordan at all except a mention at the end. He works hard for HTF and deserves coverage.
Jordan had another TH-cam channel doing coverage on him and I don’t think they wanted to stick 2 Cameras in his face especially with him thrashing to get the kinks out his car

I love the production of this race. Lots of cameras. And,the drone giving the ‘wide’ shots. Those are my favorite. I love being able to see more than the ‘two car’ coverage. But,overall,great work on the TV production. Not to belittle what the HTF crew has done. Jesse had a great interview after his heat win. Just needs to learn the cliches. ie “Bull Durham”.

I want to see Hunt the Front come up to Iowa for a season, racing with the competition at least six nights out of seven each week. Even with the king of the mods Kelly Shryock, and you will see why I spent a lot of time in Iowa, and would go back for more!

I don't think they realize the quality of the drivers that they are running against. Jesse is really impressing me that he can just jump in that car and run that well against them. There are very few races up in the midwest that attract a better field of IMCA mods that are down there this week.
Might be time to trade one of the LM chassis for a modified chassis for Jesse. My man can wheel a modified with the best of them. He can help Jordan while he's at it.
Wallace has been doing this for 50 years and look how meticulous he is at making sure his helmet is clean and he can see good. Jesse has dirt from last year still on his and always has some weird film on his goggles. LMAO

Imca Mods are so fun to drive. I raced one for about 5 years. 8" tires means nothing to lean on so it takes a lot of throttle control.
