It is worth noting that not only did Haile Selassie hire the band of Armenian orphans, but this group of 40 young men were known as Arba Lijoch or "The Kings Kids" He pretty much adopted them as his family. This was in the beginning of his tour of an early 1920s Europe that was heading towards fascism. His warnings to the world went unheeded- leading us into WW2. Thank you again for the wonderful video.
Just incredible! Music is in deed "universal language" as the orchestra members play it without missing a single key/melody and perform the unique Ethiopian sentimental pieces!
