What interesting is every manifestation of intersexualism has always existed even in ancient biblical times when no science or surgeries existed. I find it fascinating how those dealing with homosexuality and various gender identity issues are dismissed as being mixed up in the head with your funny little finger gesture. Clearly sexuality is a complex layering of ones body, mind and spirit. I believe you know this in your heart but it just doesn't fit your theology.
If some of the intersex individuals who are elsewise able to have biological children had "been fixed" prior to marriage, then those individuals would have never been able to have biological children.
