@@ThomasCranmer1959 "Brother Jimmy is selling you a load of liberal textual criticism." Either demonstrate this accusation or retract your ungodly slander.
I just left a cultivar IFB KJVO church of over 2 decades. I’ve been starting my journey through the Bible expositionally. There is still much guilt and confusion that I’m struggling with. But I have been learning so much that I never knew were true. Freedom away from that manipulation and fear has been a wonderful change.
He could call it "god James White version" The GJWV. Because he believes he knows what God is trying to tell us is in conflict with the KJV. He is the god of the new age versions.
I grew up Independent Fundamental Baptist (IFB) and he is spot on about the IFB being built on fear. They all do talk the same way. Everyone is Brother or Sister so and so. They have the same hair cuts, they wear the same basic clothing. You must hold to all positions of the IFB movement (Dispensationalism) or you are shunned and chased out. 95% of all IFB churches are run by authoritarians and every single IFB church has a church government in violation of scripture (their deacons sit in the place of an elder but don't meat the qualifications of an elder). When I first started to look at covenant theology I wanted to listen to Kim Riddlebarger amillennialism 101 series. Me and two other buddies were taking a 10hr long trip and we had decided to listen to the series on the way (we were all raised IFB, but 2 of us were attending a Bible church at the time). Well, less than an hour into it the 3rd fellow that was still IFB accused me of allowing Satan and idea's of the devil into our minds, and was throwing every accusation of evil at me. I ended up deciding to turn off the CD before he and me ended up in a serious fight, because that is where it was going. It was the worst trip of my life and I learned a very important lesson. If you can, always drive your own car.
You have been deceived by Satan. God's words are PURE and without error. Dr. Peter S Ruckman is hands down the best at rightly dividing the word of truth in the Ruckman Reference Bible available from the Bible Baptist Bookstore... Or you can continue down the road of progressive, liberal, Satan worshipping professors and false teachers like the nut job in this video Jamie White; Mr ignoramus himself.
I take a way different approach. Whether in the OT or NT...I ask them to show me where someone is writing about the bible. Most times you are going to relay them as being about, "the scriptures". Then I just compare and contrast what the children of men said about their words. I am using the MEV but the KJV makes it a bit more personal and I think off putting when compared to the words of the Lord-a more sharp contrast in the KJV that says, "our lips are our own, who is Lord over us?" I should mention I used to be KJVO and IFB. I never used Psalms 12 to be about the KJV because I just had an uneasy feeling in doing that. Doing it this way some do begin to see it is not really about the scriptures. The other thing I try to show is about the integrity of words-when you give your word. The reason to bring that up because that does tend to be more relatable to KJVO but I ask about how is it that the words of the Lord are not pure when they come out of the Lord's mouth? I ask does this mean maybe God is a potty mouth sometimes and has to wash his mouth out with soap-purify them seven times? No. This is where I can make my point this is not talking about what God needs to do to make his words pure but rather to show the integrity-the surety of his promises-the words he speaks-then re read about the sons of men in the same Psalm: 1 Help, LORD, for the godly man comes to an end, for the faithful disappear from sons of men. 2 They speak empty words, each with his own neighbor; they speak with flattering lips and a double heart. 3 The LORD will cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaks proud things, 4 who have said, “With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are in our control, who is master over us?” Modern English Version. Thinline Edition. Lake Mary, FL: Passio, 2014. Print. As far as behaivor-when that reaction came to James White-I call it, "when anti-intellectualism becomes a spiritual gift".
So True. Keeping them under control is exactly right. I can honestly say that I really did believe the KJVO garbage. Because the pastor, pronounced by KJVOs- paaaaaassstoor in a reverant, almost whisper, taught it from the pulpit. I am a Southern Baptist preacher's son, and in spite of all my father's faults, I never knew him to lie about the Word of God. Later I drifted into an IFB church because I knew the preacher in the SB,New Orleans seminary grad, to lie. What got me to open my eyes was when I found out that the Spanish side of the IFB church I was attending used a Bible not translated from the TR but from the King James. Blew My Mind. I wonder if they give credit to those translaters, like they do King James. That's when I discovered brother White and his KJO Controversy book. And watched the debate from the Macclenburg show on TH-cam. Plus many other actual Bible scholars. Thank You for the work you do.
Why does there need to be a "best" translation, as if it were a competition?

I am baffled at the interpretation that what God preserves in Psalm 12 are the words. For people who use Bibles in Spanish perhaps the meaning is clearer in the sense that Spanish differentiates nouns by gender and thus it's very specific about what the object of preservation is. In the Reina Valera version I use it is VERY clear (because of gendered nouns) that what God is preseving are the poor that were mentioned in verse 5 ("poor" masc. plural noun in verse 5, and "them" masc. plural pronoun in verse 7), and not the words (fem. plural noun) in verse 6. "Words" and "them" do not match by gender. The purpose of verse 6 is to say that God's words are true and do not fail when he promises what he will do for those that wait on Him the people from verse 5. Kind of ironic, since KJVO cultists have been known to say that if you want to get the true meaning of Scriptures and you don't speak English, you must learn it.
This whole video looks demonic. He is dressed in all black. This lighting is dark and symbols all over the place. Satan comes to; Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. White has put himself in high places and keeps people in his darkness. He needs to repent. Putting confusion in your minds. Only Satan does that. Genesis 3:1 Yea, hath God said,???? Doubt about the word of God and which one is his word? You see the English language has one book that IS THE WORD od God for us. All this other versions are always being corrected and changed by so called scholars that feel they know better that God what God is saying. So that makes them gods for the people. We are not smart enough and all the brand new manuscripts being discovered like the ones in the trash hundreds of years ago. English is a new language. They were sill developing it during the time of the KJV. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page Early Modern English - the language used by William Shakespeare - is dated from around 1500. It incorporated many Renaissance-era loans from Latin and Ancient Greek, as well as borrowings from other European languages, including French, German and Dutch. Significant pronunciation changes in this period included the ongoing Great Vowel Shift, which affected the qualities of most long vowels. Modern English proper, similar in most respects to that spoken today, was in place by the late 17th century. English as we know it today came to be exported to other parts of the world through British colonisation, and is now the dominant language in Britain and Ireland, the United States and Canada, Australia, New Zealand and many smaller former colonies, as well as being widely spoken in India, parts of Africa, and elsewhere. Partially due to influence of the United States and its globalized efforts of commerce and technology, English took on the status of a global lingua franca in the second half of the 20th century. This is especially true in Europe, where English has largely taken over the former roles of French and (much earlier) Latin as a common language used to conduct business and diplomacy, share scientific and technological information, and otherwise communicate across national boundaries. The efforts of English-speaking Christian missionaries have resulted in English becoming a second language for many other groups.[1][2] They are still reinventing the English language, Like gay used to mean happy. Now is a group of men in lust for each other. Romans 1:27. “And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.” It is going to rein, I mean rain. Oh deer, Oh Dear, Ware did you go? Where did you go to ware that? Rose or rows. So maybe when they used Ploughboy that was the proper spelling. Ploughboy meaning - 1. a boy who guides the animals drawing a plough 2. any country boy It has been shortened to plowboy a boy . Not an issue.

@fablednarrative111 the Holy Scriptures existed before they were even penned by the first scribe. God has always used the mostly widely used language to provide us with His words. When the New Testament quotes what was originally written in Hebrew, do we question why God had them write in Koine Greek? No, because that was the common language. English was the common language in 1611 and has done nothing but become the absolute most dominant language to this day.
My brother gave me The King James Only Controversy for Christmas and I have been reading it. I would want to read some KJV Onlyist material to form final thoughts, but from what I have seen these beliefs are truly bizarre. I read from KJV and love it but cannot imagine how someone could conclude that it uniquely is inerrant even above and beyond the majority witness of the original language texts.
The best work I have found so far is by William P. Grady called “Final Authority” I’m reading it now but have to be honest, I’m struggling through it. Dr. Whites book is based on history and plain facts, the KJVO position tends to rely on more general statements and assumptions.

Wow, he just came out called Dr. White a fool. Unbelievable! smh.. It's so disturbing to see the ignorance and stupidity in the church. I'm starting to think that there is a shockingly low number of true Believers in our country. So many do not seem to believe in the God of the Bible but rather, a different god and different gospel altogether. There's such a big difference that I wonder if they are actually saved..
The "KJV is perfection" people need to take just 1 semester of Hebrew amd read through Leviticus. The KJV rivals the NIV in how loosely it treats that book
The phrase "Holy Trinity" is not found in scripture. The phrase "King James Version" is not found in scripture. NO denomination is found in scripture. Please don't use silly questions that are hypocritical that you WILL NOT apply consistently.
@fablednarrative111 The difference is you are creating a false disjunction. The Bible is a logical revelation from God. The Trinity can be logically deduced from Scripture by good and necessary consequence. WCF 1:6. Textual criticism presupposes errors in the Bible while the providential preservation view presupposes that the apographs of the Textus Receptus preserve the infallible and inerrant readings of the inspired original autographs.
@@FabledNarrativeTextual Criticism is not mentioned in the Reformed confessions. The Trinity is logically deduced from Scripture by good and necessary consequence. WCF 1:6. Your dodge is a fallacy called false comparison.
So does every language have a KJV? I’m asking to the KJV only people. Because of you don’t speak English, then that means you can’t read that version. So does every language have prophesied or anointed Bible version of their own? I’ll take a guess and say no.
Well, if you would take the time to really investigate instead of assuming that the KJV has no power, then you would discover that even those whose native tongues are not English, will admit that the hand of God is upon that book! You might want to also research which language is the most dominant in the world today. God chose the English language to spread His word and that simply can not be denied.
@@EncyclicalPrograms No one told me that and no one needed to. I know which Bible God used at the perfect time. I use to pose the same questions to the KJVO crowd so I have zero animosity towards you or anyone else. It changed my life when I came to the realization that there is no need to constantly look for reasons to correct the Bible. If I were alive prior to 1611 I would absolutely use whichever one that I could get my hands on to study and draw closer to my Saviour. And I do not think that an individual is condemned if they use one of the newer versions but I do believe that there are a lot of intellectuals who will be held accountable for critiquing God's Word for the sake of financial gain and pride. As far as other tongues are concerned, English is far and above THE most used language in the world today. Why is that? God sure seems to have caused it. KJVOism is a fear-based point of view that comes from a ignorance of scripture. Oh this is hilarious! The ploughboy remark was directed toward, not the KJV, but rather the Tyndale New Testament. They even got that wrong!
Uh, not exactly. The vast majority of modern translations are based on liberal textual criticism with considerable differences between the Byzantine Majority Text and the Textus Receptus. If you want an excellent modern translation, try the NKJV.
The plowboys read the KJV and the Geneva Bible, both translated from the Textus Receptus. Modern idiots blindly read modern translations without any understanding of the textual issues in the extant apographs or the theories used in translation.
Fear based churches also exist out-side of the Ruckman clan, my worst ever experience was in a Reformed Baptist Church. So your teaching can be applicable to the cultures of even some Reformed churches.
It's not the version of the Bible you read, it the people you hang out with! I have always read the King James Bible, not for any specific reason! Just like it! Really surprised that it is considered a cult.
You cannot understand the Gospel using a KJV bible? Is that what he just said at 2min mark? This man loves to hear his own words. KJV Onlyism is weaponized to paint all God fearing and loving Christians who choose the KJV as Gods Word as “cultists” “uneducated” “oppressed” come on people open your eyes and look at every translation they cannot all be equal if they are all different from each other. And continue to be updated every year. So edition 28 of Nestle Aland is superior to the previous editions? You don’t have the Word Of God you have a working text by scholars for scholars.
@@kenbeach5021 The Word of God are the words of God. They cannot be changed or edited or removed or added. Otherwise it is no longer the words of God. If you hold fast to critical text theory than your bible will continually be changed and how could a holy and righteous God judge you for adding or removing from His Word if you don’t have His Word? Can a Holy and righteous and all powerful God not preserve His Word for His people? We all have to choose what we read and study and meditate upon. I choose to believe Him. And the opposite of that choice will require a believer or scholar or pastor to be prepared to accept changes to their text (Nestle Aland 28th edition?) or one day the discovery of a manuscript that is in total opposition of what they hold to be true. As James White was honest enough to admit.
I am a KJVP, not KJVO Baptist from deep in Appalachia. My view of the KJV is that it is untainted by all this modern junk that you find nowadays. Gender neutral Bibles, and special interpretation Bibles and Feminist Bibles, etc. I also don't like the trend in Modern English to dumb everything down. I find the "depth" of language used in the KJV to be of more use than the shallow modern translations. That is, however, a knock against our modern English, not necessarily a knock against Non-KJV Bibles. I don't think the KJV is the only God-inspired version as some more extreme sides of my IFB camp attest to. I DO think that any of the Gender Neutral Bibles are clearly NOT God Inspired because it's man rewriting God.
Let's be fair though - the gender neutral stuff represents a fairly limited number of translations. Most translations strive to be faithful representations of the original Hebrew and Greek in modern English. Maybe you have a point about speech being watered down, but I'd much rather hand a new believer a CSB or ESV or NKJV which they can fully understand, and which doesn't water down the message of the gospel, than one with 400+ year old language that simply doesn't reflect how people speak today, even if the KJV sounds more weighty and majestic.
Dr. White. This is truly confusing to me. Can you please answer my questions? 1. What English version Bible are you telling English speaking people to read, study, and quote, with 100% certainty that that Bible is 100% without error and preserved by the Lord? 2. When the unsaved say "You do not have an infallible Bible, and you cannot say "Yes, I do," what foundation do you have to build trust on? 3. If you don't believe there is an infallible English Bible, are you saying that without knowing the original languages that an English speaking person must just trust in the new modern day interpreters, like yourself? 4. Are you more knowledgeable than the men used of the Lord that composed the KJV Bible? 5. Lastly, are you going to be composing a James White Authorized Version which you believe is more accurate?
This is not James Whites channel. It's a fan channel. Dr. White will probably not see your questions. Translations are not perfect. The Lord says His word will not pass away. He did not promise us a perfect translation in a language which did not exist when He inspired the scripture. Dr. White does not claim a specific translation as perfect because he knows that none are. The KJV translations said the same thing. Any faithful translation is to be considered the word of God. That's there words, not mine.

Black is the color of death... Just like the black pope is... Four Vows of the Jesuit order. As members of a religious order, Jesuits take three vows - of poverty, chastity and obedience - and a fourth vow of obedience specifically in regard to worldwide mission. In other words, Jesuits must be ready to accept whatever mission the Pope requires, a vow that is reflective of our broader dedication to the universal Church, and to the greater good of all people from all faiths and cultures. A Jesuit is a religious order of clerics regular of pontifical right for men in the Catholic Church headquartered in Rome. It was founded in 1540 by Ignatius of Loyola and six companions, with the approval of Pope Paul III. The society is engaged in evangelization and apostolic ministry in 112 nations. Jesuits work in education, research, and cultural pursuits. Why does your church display the Triquetra on your website? The triquetra is often found in insular art, most notably metal work and in illuminated manuscripts like the Book of Kells. It is a "minor though recurring theme" in the secondary phase of Anglo-Saxon sceatta production (c. 710-760).[2] It is found in similar artwork on early Catholic High Crosses and slabs. An example from early medieval stonework is the Anglo-Saxon frithstool at Hexham Abbey.[3] The symbol has been interpreted as representing the Catholic Trinity, especially since the Celtic revival of the 19th century. The original intention by the early medieval artists is unknown and experts[who?] warn against over-interpretation.[2] It is, however, regularly used as a Trinitarian symbol in contemporary Catholic iconography. The Jesuits have been planted by the black pope to attack Gods true church and believers. Disguised, they are false prophets as he exposes himself as. From your apologiachurch.com/doctrine/ Scripture You don't believe this... We believe the Bible to be the written revelation of God, complete and sufficient in all respects. We believe the Scriptures to be “God-breathed” and therefore fully authoritative in and of themselves; they rely for their authority upon no church, council, or creed, but are authoritative simply because they are the Word of God. The Scriptures, as they embody the very speaking of God, partake of His authority and His power. Which bible is Gods written word? God’s Deity We believe the Bible teaches that there is but one being of God, yet there are three Persons who share this one being of God: the Father, the Son, and the Spirit. Each Person is fully and completely God, each is described in Scripture as possessing the attributes of God. The Father, Son, and Spirit have eternally existed in the relationship described by the term “Trinity.” No mention of Jesus being the God Man that 1Timothy 3:16 "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory." God’s Plan of Redemption We believe that man was created in the image of God. Man rebelled against His Creator, and fell into sin. As a result, man became spiritually dead, totally unwilling and indeed incapable of seeking after God. God, from eternity past, having foreordained all things, joined a certain people to Christ Jesus, so that He might redeem them from their sin and in so doing bring glory to Himself. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died in the place of this elect people, providing full and complete forgiveness of sins by His death upon the cross of Calvary. No other work can provide for forgiveness of sins, and no addition can be made to the completed and finished work of Christ. People all over the world have been seeking after God. They just don't know how to find him, but through his only begotten Son, Jesus. John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Salvation comes by the blood of Jesus for the remission of sins. Matthew 26:28 "For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins." Hebrews 9: 22 "And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission." Jesus didn't just die, He bled out all his blood for the remission of our sins. He could have just died of a stroke or heart attack. He had to fulfill prophecy and he did. He became man The second Adam to be a perfect sacrifice for our sins, completely and finished by Jesus. Jesus plus nothing equals pure justification from our sins, if we truly believe. Jesus said; it is finished. John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost Salvation We believe that God, in His sovereign grace and mercy, regenerates sinful men by the power of the Holy Spirit, not by any action of their own, bringing them to new life. God grants to them the gifts of faith and repentance, which they then exercise by believing in Christ and turning from their sins in love for God. As a result of this faith, based upon the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ, God justifies or makes righteous the one who believes. God’s gift of faith, and the continuing work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of the elect, will result in good works. These good works flow from true, saving faith; they are a necessary result of faith, but are not to be considered necessary to the gaining of justification, which is by God’s grace through faith alone, so that no man can boast. Baptized with the Holy Ghost ay the moment we first believe and becoming children of God adopted into his family to work in the heart and soul of the believer. Reminding us we are sinners and need him to guide us in our new walk in Gods grace and forgiveness. We are saved by Gods grace through faith, Ephesians 2:8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast." His blood is required Colossians 1:14 "In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:" The Church We believe Jesus Christ established His Church, which is made up of all the elect of God. His Church, as an obedient bride, listens to His Word as found in the Bible. All who believe in Christ are placed in His body, the Church. The local expressions of the Church are very important, and each believer should be actively involved in such a fellowship. Which bible? Elect of God? They are old testament saints, not redeemed by Jesus, but by their works of righteousness keeping the laws of God, Old convenient, time past. Jesus said; he will build his church. The church is built on Jesus. These are new testament saints during the church age which will end after the rapture or catching up (KJV) of true believers. 1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words." 1 Corinthians 15:50 :Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality." This will be full redemption bringing the church to where he is John 14:1 " Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." Lastly The Return of Christ We believe that Christ is coming again to judge the living and the dead. This promise is found throughout the inspired Scriptures. Until His return, believers are to live lives that bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. The Church is to be busy doing the work of evangelism and discipleship, proclaiming the pure, uncompromised Gospel of Christ by teaching the Word of God. Yes! not for salvation, but because of salvation. We should be declaring the finished work of the gospel to all living creatures until he comes. exposing false prophets Jesuits all along the way. This location in your video looks demonic. Question??? Do you believe Westcott and Hort were saved? Were they Christians? Is there proof? Questions; Luke 4:8 Why did they omit "get thee behind me Satan" from their versions? 1 Timothy 3:16 Who is "he" referring to in your version? My KJB says; God was manifest in the flesh, not he. Jesus was, is and always will be God as 1 Timothy 3:16 KJB says. You have to prove to readers of this verse in these other versions this is referring to God became flesh. So, contrary to JW beliefs that Jesus is not God, Jesus was, is and always will be God in my KJB version. I have a huge problem with this verse in your versions and any others that leave God became flesh out, changing the verse to read he was reveled in flesh. He who, Mohammod, buddha, Joseph Smith...Who?. You sir are Lying just like Satan did to Eve.
Where is Matthew 17:21 in the NLT? Why in the others "Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting." You don't believe in prayer and FASTING? Again, leaving out fasting, no fasting in 2 Corinthians 6:5, & 11:27. NASB 1995 LEAVES IT IN BRACKETS, They don't want people to fast and pray. Fasting gone. Mark 9:29 and fasting gone, 1 Corinthians 7:5 give yourselves to fasting and prayer. Acts 10:30 KJV "And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing," Fasting removed, Is fasting a bad word?
The words in the KJB are the words of God inspired by the Holy Ghost not a spirit like that that Jesus cast out of the man living in the tombs Luke 8:29. 2 Peter 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost, not spirits. 2 Timothy 3:16 KJB “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness”: Are you saved or being saved? 1 Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which ARE saved it is the power of God. The Roman Catholic church and other law keepers would have you believe it is a process to be saved. The process is believing the gospel, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Which contradicts the message of the thief on the cross. He was saved when he believed Jesus as his savior, At the very moment. My salvation of my soul is saved by grace and sealed by the Holy Ghost, GOD at the very moment I first believe the gospel through faith. The path of salvation, saved by grace through faith. He keeps my soul saved until the day of redemption, not me. Ephesians 4:30 "And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption." Done deal at the moment of salvation by God and his grace and infinite mercy. I am guiltless by the shedding of the blood at the cross of Jesus. His blood cleanses me white as snow before His throne. What can wash away my sins? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. My soul is sealed by God not from my works of righteousness. I will be found guiltless at the throne of God, because all my sins are covered under the Blood making me white as snow that blood washes me clean in the sight of God, because of Jesus and by Him alone, Not my filthy works. The Roman Catholic church and other law keepers would have you believe it is a process to be saved if you can get it all right. Right, James? Which contradicts the message of the thief on the cross. He was saved at the moment on the cross not after he had to prove he was a changed man, but instantly when he believed Jesus as his savior on his cross of death. Luke 23: 43 "And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise." Why all the changes in all these versions? You slander other people viciously with a mean spirit who Believe the words in the KJB and were saved and sealed over the centuries. They have come to a saving knowledge of Jesus that were inspired by the Holy Ghost or Spirit in your versions. If the KJV is not the word of God, which one is? I am not a college educated bible graduate to become a god to interpret what you or I think God means, You are becoming god to as many as you can deceive with your lies as you tell us what you think the scriptures are saying. 2 Peter 1:20“Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.” No original manuscripts, they are all gone. What we have in the KJB is Holy Ghost inspired. What you are telling people is you are a god you know better than the Holy Ghost what God has told people for centuries, the mind of God.

Cody Zorn is like the Frenchman on Monty Python and the holy grail.... "I shall taunt you a second time ah"
I take a way different approach. Whether in the OT or NT...I ask them to show me where someone is writing about the bible. Most times you are going to relay them as being about, "the scriptures". Then I just compare and contrast what the children of men said about their words. I am using the MEV but the KJV makes it a bit more personal and I think off putting when compared to the words of the Lord-a more sharp contrast in the KJV that says, "our lips are our own, who is Lord over us?"
I should mention I used to be KJVO and IFB.
No. This is where I can make my point this is not talking about what God needs to do to make his words pure but rather to show the integrity-the surety of his promises-the words he speaks-then re read about the sons of men in the same Psalm:
1 Help, LORD, for the godly man comes to an end,
for the faithful disappear from sons of men.
2 They speak empty words, each with his own neighbor;
they speak with flattering lips and a double heart.
3 The LORD will cut off all flattering lips,
and the tongue that speaks proud things,
4 who have said, “With our tongue will we prevail;
our lips are in our control, who is master over us?”
Modern English Version.
When are you going to debate Pints with Aquinas or Bishop Baron?
So, what English translation is the best? Is it the ESV? Dr. White never says in his defense.
"The King James Only Controversy" by White is an excellent resource.
I second that
This is where James White is at his best.

English is a new language. They were sill developing it during the time of the KJV. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page
Early Modern English - the language used by William Shakespeare - is dated from around 1500.
The efforts of English-speaking Christian missionaries have resulted in English becoming a second language for many other groups.[1][2]
They are still reinventing the English language, Like gay used to mean happy. Now is a group of men in lust for each other. Romans 1:27. “And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.”
It is going to rein, I mean rain.

The best work I have found so far is by William P. Grady called “Final Authority” I’m reading it now but have to be honest, I’m struggling through it. Dr. Whites book is based on history and plain facts, the KJVO position tends to rely on more general statements and assumptions.

@@dannymcmullan9375 😪. Nobody on Earth has a Bible without errors. 😪
0% faith in telling the unsaved that what I'm quoting to them is without doubt what the Lord said.
That's depressing.
Telling the unsaved..."this may or may not be true, but this is what it says anyways", certainly eliminates any confidence in the Holy inspiration and preservation.
@@ManassehJones Sounds like you are conflating the Bible, with translations of the Bible. The scripture was inspired in the original language. It was with out error. It is preserved in the multitude of manuscript copies. Some of which were used in the translation of the KJV.
@@dannymcmullan9375 That's great news. Thank you. Thank you.

@@kristiewatts1030 the one's I know just don't seem that wacky. I believe y'all; extremes are everywhere.
I agree. I know a couple of IFB churches in which the KJV is used but they are not exclusionary; they are more KJV _preferred,_ not KJV only.
@@dwaynerider8295 the church I attended was very extreme. KJV only ,all other translations were not tolerated. You never questioned the pastors teachings, he demanded you submit to his authority. He made sure you knew out side teachings like reformed theology were deemed heretical. Every sermon he made sure to bash other denominations as if they were not Christians . Im not talking about cults like the LDS or JWs, I'm talking about Calvinist's . If you were outside the IFB you were a heretic. Every one seemed fake , like they had reached a place of almost perfection. Very self righteous. The Pastor even stood in the pulpit and said he would probably not be friends with most members because they were not holy enough. He is right about that in away , none of us are righteous enough..... Every Sunday it was bout the tythe.
An example from early medieval stonework is the Anglo-Saxon frithstool at Hexham Abbey.[3]
The symbol has been interpreted as representing the Catholic Trinity, especially since the Celtic revival of the 19th century.

Scripture You don't believe this...
God’s Deity
We believe the Bible teaches that there is but one being of God, yet there are three Persons who share this one being of God: the Father, the Son, and the Spirit. Each Person is fully and completely God, each is described in Scripture as possessing the attributes of God. The Father, Son, and Spirit have eternally existed in the relationship described by the term “Trinity.” No mention of Jesus being the God Man that 1Timothy 3:16 "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."
God’s Plan of Redemption
We believe that man was created in the image of God. John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost
Salvation
We believe that God, in His sovereign grace and mercy, regenerates sinful men by the power of the Holy Spirit, not by any action of their own, bringing them to new life. We are saved by Gods grace through faith, Ephesians 2:8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast." His blood is required Colossians 1:14 "In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:"
The Church
We believe Jesus Christ established His Church, which is made up of all the elect of God.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."
Lastly The Return of Christ
We believe that Christ is coming again to judge the living and the dead.
The Roman catholic church has been attacking the KJV since 1611 and has not given up. All other versions are Roman catholic in nature from the Alexandrian manuscripts. Planted by the Jesuits to try to discredit the inspired, incorruptalble, pure word of God. 2 Timothy 3;16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" I fully rebuke you in the Name of Jesus Christ!

Do you believe Westcott and Hort were saved? Were they Christians? Is there proof?
Questions;
Luke 4:8 Why did they omit "get thee behind me Satan" from their versions?
2 Timothy 3:16 KJB “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness”:
Are you saved or being saved? Luke 23: 43 "And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise."
Why all the changes in all these versions? You slander other people viciously with a mean spirit who Believe the words in the KJB and were saved and sealed over the centuries. They have come to a saving knowledge of Jesus that were inspired by the Holy Ghost or Spirit in your versions. If the KJV is not the word of God, which one is? I am not a college educated bible graduate to become a god to interpret what you or I think God means, You are becoming god to as many as you can deceive with your lies as you tell us what you think the scriptures are saying.
2 Peter 1:20“Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.”
No original manuscripts, they are all gone. What we have in the KJB is Holy Ghost inspired. What you are telling people is you are a god you know better than the Holy Ghost what God has told people for centuries, the mind of God.
