Ok, I bought the attachment to replace my ryobi saw that I had ruined. No I see the expand it is meant to attach to trimmers. The expand it pole is round and the barrel of my ryobi cutter is octagon.
That tag is idiot proofing from ryobi. It works slightly different to a normal chainsaw blade I think in that it the tensioner runs off the side plate not off the main boss off the saw. Easy enough to figure out when you take it apart. Good review by the way.
Hey just bought this today! About to use it for the first time. Trying to decide if this is worth the investment or just use a pole saw. Have you had any issues with this, or do you have any follow up videos on it? Would love to hear more about this from someone that doesn’t sound like they’re being forced or paid to review it😂
I have the edger, pole saw, tiller, & weed eater. Love them all. Also have the 4 cycle gas and battery one. Started our a long time ago with the corded one. What I really like is that the attachments have fit all of them.
You want it to be thick. Bar and chain oil is pretty cheap at Walmart and clings to the chain. Wd40, air tool oil, 2 stroke oil and motor oil drips off way too quick.
update,i just saw on another video that you can just tug the string and itll pop off. i just wedged a work glove between the string and my finger and it came right off when i pulled
Thanks for the video. I have the brush cutter attachment, it gets the job done too. Nice work.
i came to your video to figure out the orange tag too. just bought it today and nothing in the manual on how to remove it lol
I have all of the attachments and love it

Any oil will work also … I had some Castrol semi synthetic high mileage 5w30 I use for the chain oil
Thanks! Helpful!
have been considering the pole saw attachment for my ryobi

Just make sure you keep oil in the chain box
Thank homeboy
Does it have to be bar and chain oil or can I use anything on hand that’s not too thick?
