- Skateboarding at 44 years old... Deep down, true skating for me is represented by street skating, but it's not that simple when you're a beginner and getting on a bit.
My skating buddies on Insta:

It's a good sign that you're focused on the spot that you marked on your wheel the first time
Still can't believe we got bullied off the basketball court 😂 great vlog!
Wow, I guess the "locals only" vibe is still alive and well, pretty ridiculous. Looked like y'all were having fun anyway and Andy's (or is it Andeh? ) big spin was legit. Good stuff🤙🤙
Andy is his name, pronouncing it And-eh is his game. He's got an insane progression curve, i f you have a look at his Insta.
First🎉 love ur videos keep up the good work 💪🏻💪🏻
Come on!! Thank you
That one my nephew
Haha brilliant! Love the vlog style and the 3 of you together, just feels like skating with friends watching these. Sick shuv from Andy on the curb 😯Any your shuvit progress is going well!
Andy is so good for the time we've been learning.
Always good to get out and skate the streets. @DadLeisureSkateboarding told me about your channel when I was skating with him in Deeside. The key to street skating is to warm up somewhere quiet and then once your in the zone then go skate the spot you wanted to. Once your in the zone you can switch the people out. At least that's how it goes for me.
I started skating at 39. 41 now. It takes me forever to learn a trick. Keep it up.
Reassuring! Takes that long to learn yet disappears in a flash
Well done man, keep up the good work, i wish i could joing the session.
Give a shout if you doing one in London next time :)
Hey man couldn't help but notice Brockley, You've probably been to Crystal Palace skatepark but there's also another small skatepark 20 mins away called bloblands in Norwood park which has a sort of DIY element and smaller transitions which has been so helpful for me to learn at
I’ve not been yet, but me and my brother are waiting for a sunny day to go over there
@@Ungracefulmovement Ah fair play, it's a bit of a techy park but the bowls are good to practice dropping in and carving. There isn't much flat ground to work with but there's a bridge around the entrance of the sport centre with concrete surface ideal for practicing and there's some mellow hills you can bomb around the lake too.

Fit check was alright!

This is great fun wow I want to try this
You definitely should
get a like for the them skates x
Soph will be stoked on that!!!
Malls and parking lots are a good place to find nice "old man" size curbs lol Plus they usually have that yellow paint on them which slides like butter. Cool video man! 👊🛹
sadly UK curbs are not quite on a par with US curbs, but we try. Love your videos btw - subbed
@@Ungracefulmovement Even a sidewalk curb with grass on one side will help A LOT. The safety of the grass will make you try new things (lol) then adapt to a manny pad etc. 😎 Also subbed 👊
Old man skating! yew!
🙌🏻
If you're a real Pro skater you only skate brand new Wheels you don't skateboard and keeps getting on Old Wheels now you throw them out
