Curt, I've been a subscriber for many years, I've watched you you and the gang through thick and thin, from loads of coins and relics to absolutely nothing sometimes and I'll admit I've like all the videos and places you gone that I was able to watch you go and I've always thought you were a bit whiny, NO MORE and my sincerest of apologies'... but this video, this awesome video has made me gain a new level of respect and American pride for you my countryman. You sir are a true American Patriot, I can see it in the emotional looks on your face when finding these priceless pieces of our history as a early nation and I am proud to have you representing the metal detecting community with your videos of your personal adventures, Thank you for doing what you do to save American history. You sir are a real life superhero, never change, tow the line you are the most genuine person I've ever had the pleasure of watching. My hats off to you.
I just got a detector for the first time on July 5th. My best find to date? My wedding ring that I lost on July 4th in a field watching fireworks. Not exactly saving history, but monumental in preventing future hostilities - with my wife. ;-)
That's great Kurt. Nothing can be found setting at home. You deserve every one of your top 5. My top 5 are collided CW Ringtail bullets, officer's eagle sword belt buckle, 5 Virginia CW coat buttons in one spot, militia eagle belt buckle and on Christmas Eve 2019 a trap tag of my father's 44 years after he died.
Wow, Kurt, those are some dandy finds! My five favourite finds are a silver Canadian quarter with King George V (1920s), a sterling class ring, a Queen Victoria Canadian large cent, one of my late father-in-law's bottle openers, and most of a flintlock boot pistol from the 1830s. 😁
My best find is not historical or reason to jump up and down for but means a lot to me. When I was 10 my grandfather was teaching me how to buck hay out in his field. When we got back to the house he realized that he lost his watch. We looked for a couple hours and never found it. Just last year I found it with my new metal detector! It was about an inch deep. He lost that watch about 45 years ago. Thanks for sharing your finds! I would be shaking with excitement as well!!
I watched you guys for few years. Im waiting for my first detector in the mail. I love history and you guys are the best on TH-cam. Always get fired up after watching your videos 😂
@@thehooverboys I’m a few hours south of Niagara Falls in Canada 🇨🇦 one day I’d love to come hunt In the states! Might start up a channel once I get going.
Great to see these again. You deserved every single one of them. You put in the time bro. 1. GW button of course 2. Militia Belt Plate 3. USA button 4. Chain Cent 5. Gold coin (I thought it would be your US 1 dollar) but we all need some Brad in our lives. Funny I saw the notification while I was at work and I called all the finds. You must be one happy bastard
Always great to watch you guys across the big pond. Bit unfair to compare finds from there to here, we have history going back so many more years. My best finds 1: Silver Gilt whistle once owned by Henry VIII 2: 97 coin Silver Roman Hoard 141bc to 46AD 3: Penny of Coenwulf, King of Mercia 796-821 4: Roman Denarius of Otho 5: Nearly complete polished stone axe head 10,000bc to 4,000bc ... I am still waiting for my 1st Gold Coin though.
to be able to live in an area that has that much history under your feet just has me green with envy😭. the collection of historic artifacts just you alone have uncovered is staggering! lucky dog!
Great 5 top finds for sure!! Congratulations Kurt, you deserve them!!! I got goosebumps and teared up when you found the gold coin!! Thanks for sharing!
What amazing finds. The emotions of finding something so historically significant and being left speechless are so real. I love the fact that you don't sell any of your finds and hunt to save history. Happy hunting brother.
Really enjoyed this episode! I was almost as hysterical as you, laughing my butt off.! You were adorable ! Pleased for you and happy all your efforts these years have rewarded you and us!
Kurt, really incredible to see all these finds again. I've been sub'd to your channel long enough to remember these. And to see them all in one photo at the end of the vid is priceless.
Congrats all over again, Kurt! It's fun to see this recap, even though I saw them all when originally published. One good thing about not having a flawless memory, is that Louis XV looks even more awesome than I remembered. 😎💯
EVERY SINGLE one of those give me chills just to see. All a detectorists dream right there. Me being primarily a coin collector, that chain cent is tops. I wouldn't know how to put em in order. Lol. Oof.....chills again. Lol.
I love seeing the best finds compilations. That is some beautiful history My 5 best/favorite finds. 1. U.S. box plate and Eagle Breast Plate 2. 1842 dime(my oldest coin) 3. 1920s-30s Silver lift arm lighter 4. Civil War Dragoon button 5. Coussens Honey of Tar printing. plate.
I absolutely cannot believe how big those kids are getting! I’ve been there for every one of those finds and loved it all. Miss Bobby, Brad and Billy though. Those were all great finds!
Looking back was great, because I had forgotten about a couple of your finds, but the GW button, the Eagle belt plate, and the gold French coin were amazing. And I really enjoyed the excitement and joy you had, but what made you 5 top finds really special was seeing Bobby, and BRad, it’s just a shame Billy wasn’t in on those hunts. I do miss the old Hoover Boys! God Bless, and keep them coming, because “All Holes Matter”!
Holy $@&*! I'm 61 and in decent shape, but if I personally ever dig ANY of those five I wouldn't see 62. Unreal Unreal Unreal. Nice to see Jason and his crew in the GW find video. He's a great dude and recently helped me identify my best find. A 1925 Charlie Chaplin Gold Rush movie premiere token. Hoover Boys, Quarter Hoarder Crew & Green Mountain... Best of the best!
This video is AWESOME. You GOTTA do a video on all the gold coins between you Brad and everybody else. Keep it up man I look forward to Wednesdays just for these videos
Kurt you’ve been well blessed with several extremely rare finds! My greatest find to date is this show. Good to see some of the boys again… even if it was from the past. Well done sir!
Holy crap! Ok listen to this. Yesterday I got a brand new metal detector. And I was watching some of your videos since it’s basically the same ones you use. Yesterday I watched the GW button video, and the hour long greatest compilations video. Which you don’t put compilations often. How much of a coincidence that I wake up and see that you posted this an hour ago. Lol
Always enjoy watching you and the boys 👍I've seen every video and smiled and laughed with you as you discovered lost history 🇺🇲 And always looked forward to see what you will find next 😎👍
Still my favourite detecting channel. Awesome job as usual. Still after my first gold coin .just got permission to a Coventry hangman site should be good.stay safe boys and thanks for all your kind words over the years means a lot. What a bunch of Awesome people
I remember all 5 of these episodes when they were new. I figured your first Trime would have made the list because you went back for all that dirt to dig up the tiny piece that broke off. But, I do admit your 5 picks were pretty awesome. I'm still Jelly. Thanks for sharing your adventures again. 😀
Dang Bro , That is some fantastic historical items Kurt. At least you had your Friends around you to share your JOy with. One day you,, Bobby, Brad , Billy , and the rest of the crew need to take a few days off and go hunting together. Now that would be your Greatest Video. Bobby A
