I love those Aussie old notes , and I see a beautiful New Zealand $5 note there that has sir Edmond Hillary, first man to climb Mt Everest there to , very cool
I love that you gave the history of the1815. Why doesn't everyone give us these great stories? I truly believe that coins would be collected by twice as many people as they are now, with this simple history !Holding a piece of history that your grandmother talked about is as special as it gets!I heard so many stories of the great depression and it is a trigger for my honor to try to never complain, Unless of course, someone swears at a child or a man hits a woman!
Coin Guy is genuinely awesome. Love his authenticity and willingness to teach on not take advantage. I wish i had his shop in my town. Id like to buy something from him one day once i get closer to my base stack goals. I was just looking to bet a good details graded Morgan, Peace, walker, Benji, and Kennedy for the slabbed collection one day.
I have enjoyed your videos, they are A#1 professional. Mr. Coin Guy and yourself have brought many hours of enjoyment and knowledge into my living room as I cast your videos to my TV. Can't thank you guys enough. Jim from Cooperstown, NY.
The wife and I are determined to get over to Florida to check out Coin Guy's shop and to meet him. The goal is June, July this summer.... Can't wait! Such a wealth of knowledge.
Hi COIN GUY From here in UK ENGLAND love you chats with spectacular and want too get hands on one of your silver rounds love the video I can watch and listening to your knowledge all day keep well GUY your a beautiful person thanks for leaning us all xx royboy1 in UK ENGLAND Xxx
35:25 you could do this using private/public key system and a blockchain smartcontract, would be easy to do and non-intrusive on the case as you could just have the qr code on there.
Minute 24:15 Sometimes our ancestors did horrific things. Trying to still deny it is lying to ourselves. History has shown that columbus did many atrocities. Even the Queen of Spain did not columbus for the bad things he did.
It’s crazy to hear someone say that justice for others who are different from them should not exist but yet we have a justice system that was established by the very same group of people to protect themselves and their families.
They also tell others to forget about the past but yet they speak of their past with a gleam of pride in their eyes as they collect and proudly display historical momentos.
Absolutely LOVE these chats with Coin Guy and YOU, Spegtacular! They make me smile!! God bless Coin Guy!! God bless you and your family, Spegtacular. And please, remember.... what the Easter holiday is about. Take care all, be safe and God bless! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Ive always loved the Caribbean sterling coins. Ive got a bunch in my collection, im almost done with my bahamas type set. Glad you did a video on them.
New Yorkers get the best history teachers! I had a buddy who would say New Yorkers talk too much and I would say That may be, but at least they have something to say that really matters, unlike some of us!
I have a BU 1908 $10 Indian Gold coin. And I think that it has an error on the reverse with a raised gold line going over a couple letters where it says United States of America. Is there a way I can get some pictures of it so that The Coin Guy can take a look at it so that he can tell me what kind of error it is??
Minute 23:15 I dont think they let all the african americans know about that plus I dont think the government wanted them all to leave as they still needed them in the work force.Whit out them the south would have been left empty with no work force and a great depresion and economic collapce would have happened.
Very strange view he has. Sounds like he supports kidnapping and assaulting someone for years along with their children, as long as they are given bus fare home at the end of the ordeal. Lol
Coin Guy may well be considered well read by those who read the back of their Cheerios. Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, for those who don't know, is NOT her only book. Her most famous by far, but it's like saying Barbie Girl is the only song Aqua ever recorded.
Thank you to you and Guy for the fun videos. Question: many experts say that there are far more 1916d Mercuries surviving than there are surviving 1921P. Will the public ever realize this fact and revalue the 1921P.?
I’m a proud Canadian and watch your program when I can . Yes they will accept pennies in the banks here but not businesses. And the same goes for the Canadian one and two dollars. Older bills in Canada are accepted at face value in the bank, and they usually destroy them after that. Thanks Speg.
They don,t offer gold at the banks. You would have to order through the mint or visit a coin shop like Guy’s or a pawn shop , which usually jacks the prices up . The better coin shops are in southern Ontario Toronto, Kitchener areas.
@@Spegtacular Not in my little town but if you call a major banking institution in a major city you might find luck. I’ve never bought gold that way.Good luck to you if that’s what you want.
The bird that looks like a dinosaur is a frigate bird, Cuba is to size but y’all forgot about a sliver of US land right there called Guantanamo Bay. Way toast the original 100 yr lease it’s been in limbo long time. After the Marianas trench deepest place on our planet is in the Caribbean.
How about a caveat for the English currency. Probably not what Coin Guy has, but some English currency has been demonetized and is not usable for payment, except by Charities and Pensioners. Not sure what years, but now only suitable for collecting.
Love the Coin Guy. My parents used to live near Sarasota and I would visit every couple of years. If I were able to travel, I would definitely come down to Florida (from VA) to see Guy and timed correctly, to go to one of the FUN shows. Unfortunately, I am not able to travel because of health reasons (and limited finances as well), so I expressly enjoy your visits to see the Coin Guy and get some con knowledge and see his latest "Beauts".
The Titanic had a fire on board before it hit the Iceberg so some people believe that was responsible for it sinking instead, hitting the iceberg didn't help though
It's really important to do your own due diligence to know the truth regarding "American" and world history. People of African descent were already here in the America's long before we knew who and what a Caucasian or European was. The slave trade of Africans occurred during European colonization of the America's. History says Africans were already here. Why would anyone of African descent have to leave their ancestral lands in the America's and move to Liberia when our African ancestors had been here since antiquity. Read Georgia House Resolution 1203 regarding the Moors in the America's, Circle 7 Holy Koran by Noble Drew Ali, Chapter 47, lines 1 through 10, and the period of history called, the "Age of Pangaea" when the "American" continent was once conjoined with the African continent, including India and Antarctica. Due to a geological process known as "continental drift," the continents split apart. However, ancient history taught us that people of African descent had migrated out of Africa ages before the continents split apart. There was no Atlantic Ocean. Only a river separated the continent of Africa from the America's. The slave trade is only a half truth. Not the whole truth.
I don't think I'd want to buy a proof coin that's not in a capsule. The designs might be beautiful, but the cameo will disappear after a few years if it's in a 2x2.
Every time I spend $1 or $2 here in canada I get the best reactions. Also $1,000 on a $25 note would be a bargain. Either that or it'd have to be one of the worst ones you've ever seen.

In 1912 that $4,000 would've been paid with $20 gold coins, which are worth over $2,100 melt, each
These UK Pounds are no longer legal tender, you need to exchange them first at the bank... its a hassle
Thanks to you and the coin guy😊

Great video Guy! Hi from Portland 🎉
Only your grandkids make money over 100 years later. So people buy gold and silver don't make a lot of money when they die.
TGIF Good Friday
Have a great Easter Weekend Everyone
Happy Easter, Bill!

It’s basically Aqua’s only song.. let’s be honest.
Florida has about 25% more land area than Cuba. Given that, the atlas appears to be scale friendly.
Wonderful history lesson today, appreciate you sharing your knowledge, Thank you
I was listening to a podcast last week and they said that the most expensive cabin on the titanic was about £750 which is over £400,000 today!
Thank you to you and Guy for the fun videos. Question: many experts say that there are far more 1916d Mercuries surviving than there are surviving 1921P. Will the public ever realize this fact and revalue the 1921P.?

They don,t offer gold at the banks. You would have to order through the mint or visit a coin shop like Guy’s or a pawn shop , which usually jacks the prices up . The better coin shops are in southern Ontario Toronto, Kitchener areas.
I’ve seen people from Canada walk into their bank and buy gold. So it must be certain banks.

Ya know Spergie, a coin that tracked the history of where its been would be block chain. Buy Bitcoin?
Hey everyone, I found a 1973 cent with markings on both sides of the Lincoln memorial, does anyone know anything about it?
Speg is the 7th Beach Boy.

Thanks for the read I found that joke he made a bit offensive but I’m also not overly sensitive either
It also sounds like he supports kidnapping and torture as long as you call an Uber for the victim after the crime.
